Carole was very helpful and easy going. Was greeted in the morning by her pet kelpie. Was very peaceful sitting on the verandah at breakfast looking over the cane fields. Great spot to relax, will be back.

We love that the place has it's own pool and is walking distance to Flinders Street (where there's a lot of restaurants) Will definitely stay again the next time we're in Townsville. -Hansel & Noel

We had a lovely short stay at the Island Cottages. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Simple, clean and well positioned. The air-conditioning was up to the task of dealing with the extreme humidity too! The space was roomy, clean and welcoming. Our hosts were thoughtful and genuinely considerate of our needs. A perfect stay for a simple beach holiday.

Lovely inviting home with plenty of space and all the amenities you need - perfect for us and great to have a pool which was particularly appreciated by our son 😊 Fab location - we enjoyed being able to walk along the beach to the local tavern and watch the stunning sunsets. Christine was a great host, very responsive and amenable. Thank you for sharing your home with us and I’ll be in touch ahead of our next trip!

We enjoyed a long stay at Carly’s place :) It’s a great location, close to all that Townsville has to offer. The beach house is very well equipped and is spacious too. Communication, help and advice during our stay were very much appreciated 🙏

My husband & I have stayed on Magnetic Island many times & always love it -Eleanor’s beautiful home was new to us. So peaceful sitting on one of several balconies watching/listening to teeming wildlife in the surrounding National Park. The house itself is fabulous with a lovely ambience. Having had a minor accident (not in the house!) I needed to rest an ankle for a couple of days - being in such a lovely situation holiday was not spoiled as it was a pleasure to just chill out in the house. Eleanor was a perfect host and I wish to thank her for letting us stay at Samsara.

Our stay was extremely comfortable. We were a larger family and found the house very spacious. The outdoor garden and patios were perfect for the children and adults to spread out and relax or play games. It was a short walk or drive to the beach where we saw multiple turtles popping up out of the water. Kelly the host was very responsive and checked that we were settled in. We can't wait to return!

You would be hard to find a better BNB, fantastic unit, clean and beautifully set out. Comfortable bed and everything and more you need. Rhondda and Michael are fantastic, friendly and welcomes you with open arms, we felt very much at home. It's also the little things as well like some groceries to start your stay. Value for money and well worth it, we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks again Rhondda and Michael we had a lovely time with you.
