Earth house vacation rentals in Ionian Sea

We stayed with our three kids in Marilena’s house for one week and enjoyed it very much! The house is fantastic with everything you need inside. The garden is charming and the pool is amazing! Everything is clean and very well maintained. In the surrounding area there are many shops and restaurants, the beach is 5 minutes walking distance Marilena is gracious host and was always available for us when we needed. It was a perfect location to explore the island, We really enjoyed our visit:)

Taviano si trova al centro del Salento e ciò lo rende ottimo per visitare tutte le splendide spiagge e i paesi della zona. Il trullo è perfetto: pulitissimo, comodo in ogni sua parte e arredato con gusto provenzale/shabby. Il giardino arredato con comode poltroncine, tavolo, sedie, camino, altalena, e piacevolmente illuminato, rende le serate rilassanti e divertenti. Uno dei supermercati del paese vende carne e preparazioni di carne ideali per le braci. Per le serate "pigre" il panificio prepara delle pale eccezionali, o il supermercato offre un reparto rosticceria economico e stupendo. Nelle camere, i materassi sono molto comodi: nessun mal di schiena e riposi profondi. Abbiamo trascorso 15 giorni in famiglia con due bambini: sono state le vacanze più rilassanti che ricordi! Tutto perfetto!

Très bon séjour dans ce gîte propre, moderne, bien pensé pour s’y détendre et s’y reposer. La vue de la piscine est incroyable. A noter : ce gîte ne compte pas parmi ceux qui ont vue sur mer. Il est plus en hauteur dans un escrin de lauriers et de vieux oliviers. Je retiens ce joli lieu géré par la très professionnelle et agréable Felicia. 🙂

Un grand merci à Vagia pour sa disponibilité, ses instructions vidéos très claires et originales pour rejoindre la maison. Village très charmant pour un séjour au calme avec une très bonne taverne et une superbe vue. Jolie maison pleine de souvenirs, c'est authentique et confortable. Endroit idéal pour rayonner entre Olympie, Neda, Messene et jusqu'à Pylos.

Vi kom för uteköket, och älskade det! Vi hade 4 nätter i Trullon efter att ha rest runt i Italien i en vecka. Boendet var en perfekt utgångspunkt för att kunna utforska södra delen av Puglia. Trullon är ett enkelt boende med karaktär med allt du behöver. Lugnt område, avskilt och vacker utsikt. Renate och Marco är vänliga och hjälpsamma. Vi älskade platsen och kommer gärna tillbaka igen.

Adriana è un’host meravigliosa, che ti fa sentire davvero a casa. Ti accoglie fin dal primo momento, con tanta gentilezza e disponibilità. Ha avuto anche la delicatezza di farmi trovare la prima colazione, frutta, verdura e caffè. Casa molto bella in pietra, posizione splendida.

Dieses Haus und die Location sind nichts weniger als ein wahr gewordener Traum. Ein Ort voller Ruhe und Frieden, nicht weit vom Strand und doch mitten in der Natur mit Sicht auf das grosse Meer. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht und noch viel mehr, jedes Detail ist mit Umsicht und aussergewöhnlichem Geschmack geplant und eingerichtet. Bei schönem Wetter und sogar bei leichtem Regen kann man komplett draussen im schönen Garten leben. Die Gastgeberin Manuela hat uns mit vielen guten Tipps ausgestattet, und ist uns sofort ans Herz gewachsen. Eine wunderbare Begegnung, die ich nicht vergessen werde. Hoffentlich können wir bald wieder an diesen schönen Ort kommen. La mia terra promessa. Danke Manuela für alles, und für dich.

Gorgeous home in the countryside in a quiet area. Restaurants, towns and beaches are just a few minutes away. Milena was excellent in giving local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Very attentive and loved the advice and help. The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful. But bring lots of bug spray!

Greg’s place is a dream airbnb. Although I have been increasingly disappointed with Airbnb as host become more and more corporate, Greg’s place is a beautiful home built by his great great grandfather (you can see his signature on a stone near the entrance). It has been in the family since. It has functions as a home and a refuge. It is Amazon g to get to participate in the history of such a special place.

Our stay was amazing — you can’t beat the location and views! Breakfast was so great every morning and everyone at Donkey Bay was wonderful.
