Vacation rentals with a patio in Ísafjörður

This was the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Westfjords. The views were spectacular and we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.

Wonderful stay in "the wilderness" in a new modern and well equipped cottage that stands separately with 2 bedrooms full kitchen and living room. Small but not claustrophobic, and very liveable. At first a little bewildering to locate based on just GPS coordinates in what looka like the middle of nowhere. In the end found the cottage by visual recognization from listing pictures.

Great place! Had all the necessities for cooking dinner and a comfortable night sleep. The wifi wasn’t the strongest, but that wasn’t important to us as we used our rented portable wifi. I would recommend this to anyone visiting.

Great location for this Tiny house with everything you need for a stopover or a few days. Beautiful view; the hot tub is a nice little extra at the end of the day. Recommended.

This was our second time staying here - out of more than 60 places we have stayed in Iceland this is the only one we have returned to, it is so special. The weather for our 2 night stay was not going to be good so Guðrún very generously offered us another property with more amenities but we decided to stay at Brekka. Even during the wind & rain the place was still warm thanks to the wood burner and we cooked a full meal on the stove and enjoyed relaxing completely by candlelight. We made one journey out to the local pool (also recommended, everyone is very welcoming and chatty, even by Icelandic hot tub standards!) but otherwise enjoyed a chance to de-stress and have a break from our road trip. Already looking forward to another stay in 2 years - roll on 2026!

This is our second time in this cabin. It’s a beautiful rather simple place, very close to Ísafjörður but secluded, in nature. You are surrounded by a forest, with a constant sound of the waterfall and a beautiful view towards the fjord. There are nice big windows, everything you need to cook, and a feeling of home, with all the ornaments. The bed and shower are a bit small, but you can manage. Johann is extremely hospitable and let us stay a few extra hours the day after our big Horsnstrandir hike to do our laundry in the nearby campground. Thank you, Jói!

Had a really nice stay here on our last night in Iceland. I was very glad to find this place that would accommodate my family of 8 in this rural setting. Wanted to stay close to the national park, and there were not many options other than this. The place was better than I was expecting/pics led on. I was worried we would be cramped, but that was not the case. Other than one of the bedrooms, plenty of space. On that bedroom, I knew going in it would be tight based on pics. In spite of being a bit cramped, not a big deal. Slept fine in that room, and everyone in general slept fine. Main floor was roomier than i thought. Plenty of room in kitchen and other rooms for all. Kids loved the place. Not too far from murals and ocean. Only issue i had was no shampoo in the place. No idea if I knew that before and forgot or should have known it, but it surprised me. Not a big deal. I did not inquire about it either as I was in a hurry. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
