Lewa view Cabins are located in Meru County, south of Isiolo town but north of Mount Kenya, situated in a secure and serene environment overlooking Lewa Wildlife Conservancy . The cabins are a great place to escape from it all! It brings together many species of birds. Enjoy the music by the birds as they weave their nests and forge a new home in the wilds of Lewa. Sample panoramic view that nature provides and sleep in a comfy bed. All are welcome!
“It's a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place with amazing hosts. We felt at home from the first minute! The cabins are very nice, the view across Lewa Conservancy is amazing. You better arrange a deal with Lydia to enjoy her delicious meals than cooking yourself ;) The 3 km road from the highway is quit rough but manageable with a normal car, otherwise they will assist you. Summarized this was our best Airbnb experience ever! We will be back!!!”
This is a modern cottage in the centre of the elephant corridor between Mt Kenya and Lewa Downs Conservancy. Views spectacular. Comfortable fully furnished off grid living. Vegetable garden to eat from and walks for Africa. I am offering the whole house on a per person per night rate. The guests will have full use of the house, sitting, kitchen, dining and verandah areas with fire place and comfortable chairs and tables for outside comfort. To get to this location you need a car with 4 x 4.
“Trinnie's place is truly amazing for anyone with small kids, an interest in agriculture and conservation, or simply looking for some time to get off the grid and relax in a comfortable green space. And it's extremely convenient for anyone looking to break up the drive to northern Kenya without getting stuck in Nanyuki , camping, or paying extravagantly for a safari lodge! The guest house is comfortably, elegantly, and simply designed, with a very large and well equipped kitchen and patio with a fireplace. The real attraction though is the property itself, 100 acres of previously degraded land that Trinnie and her team have transformed into a forest oasis along the elephant corridor. In addition to seeing the land coming to life, there's an amazing vegetable garden, pond, sheep, duck, chickens, and bee hives that our 2 year-old couldn't get enough of, and some great walking and hiking options. Trinnie the folks working for her were so patient and so welcoming to him, and we really appreciated the balance of having someone to show us around and tell us about the history of the farm and surrounding area, while also having our own relaxing and comfortable private house. Thanks again Trinnie and team for a truly wonderful two days. We will definitely be back and can't wait to see what new projects have emerged on the farm.”
