Absolutely delightful place in Carbondale. We felt very much at home. Michael's plase is not only really pretty and tasteful, there are also games, books, and music to enjoy. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need if you want to stay in and cook your own dinner. Michael was also super responsive. Highly recommended!

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!

The beds were really comfy and there was a personal thermostat upstairs too. excellent array of spices and cooking ware. Thank you!

I loved this house! I spent my 21st birthday here and enjoyed the Shawnee National park and coming back to relax here was top tier ! Super clean and nice space:)) I would definitely stay here again.

Dave's place was really great and we had plenty of room for our family, lots of amenities, and he left detailed instructions.

This is our second time staying at the Pool House and we can’t say enough about this relaxing getaway and its wonderful hosts D and Jane! From the moment you arrive, you become aware of how fortunate you are to have found this eclectic oasis. When you leave, you find yourself wanting to immediately plan your next stay! I had a great last minute stay at Jenny's place. it was perfect, and absolutely what I needed to get away from the city and unwind on the hiking trails. My only regret is that I didn't budget enough time to go to the Peachtree winery before it closed, especially as there was a coupon for a free wine flight in the welcome binder. The place was lovely. the views were delightful, I would definitely stay again. Also the queen bed was incredibly comfortable, which is always a plus with airbnb's.

We loved the little cabin and every place around that we tried was phenomenal! The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and private makes you feel right at home even if all you’d like to do is stay in and watch a movie.Marilynn is super helpful and super sweet we loved meeting her at the fish house! If you have a chance, definitely give crazy Joe’s fish house a try everything we got was delicious. We also loved how close it was to Ava and to the national forest, gave us so much to do and explore without driving hours to get there. This really was the perfect get away and we hope to stay again when we have time to go again!

Brian’s place was so nice and clean. We had a few questions about the area and Brian was very quick to respond. His recommendations for restaurants and wineries were spot on!
