Experience making Bizen ware using an electric potter's wheel in a workshop surrounded by nature. We provide careful guidance for beginners and can also offer instruction in English. You will use 2 kg of clay to create your piece in 60 minutes, and the finished work will be fired to a weight of approximately 700 g. It will be shipped overseas in 2 to 4 months (shipping fee not included). If you don't need the firing, you can take a Wasu-gama cup home with you.

Would you like to write your name in kanji and make a lovely washi paper card? This is an activity where you can enjoy using a brush pen, which Japanese people often use in their daily lives. You will write "Words of gratitude" and "Your name in Kanji". The instructor will suggest Kanji characters that suit your name and style. After practice, you will write a fair copy on the card, and finally decorate the two cards with colourful Kyoto Yuzen washi paper. Children are also welcome. Complete a work of art using Japanese paper that will be a souvenir of your trip in a traditional Kyoto townhouse.
