Vacation rentals with a firepit in Jefferson County

Beautifully remodeled and well styled old farmhouse. My family had a great time using this house as a home base for exploring the Thousand Islands region.

This place js a gem! If you like history and appreciate a place with character, make the trip to Felt’s Mills. We fell in love with the house and its many charms. As soon as we stepped into the garage (the former stables), we were transported to another time. We marvelled at the enormous kitchen with the large marble fireplace, and our imaginations took flight as we sat in the dining room with its giant wooden doors and wide, old-fashioned windowsills. We slept really well and had everything we needed. The place was spotless and very comfortable. James even gave us a tour of the unfinished parts and was a wonderful guide and host. Beautiful place, had an ice storm while there which was beautiful on the trees. NY does a great job on maintaining the roads so we weren’t held up at all..we were in town for a family funeral so didn’t do anything extra this trip. Nice place to retreat to after the long day.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place. I felt at home immediately and loved every moment spend there. Would definitely stay here again!

Our purpose of travel was in Harrisville, this location got us close to where we wanted to be. Without hesitation I would recommend this host and location to anyone looking for a place reasonably priced. 10 minutes from Lake Bonaparte, 15 minutes from Harrisville.

Was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and homey and clean inside with very nice river view. Shawn was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for anyone who likes staying on the river. Was too early in the season to go out on the kayaks but would definitely go back later on in the season.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

The place we stayed at was perfect! Great location and overall the apartment felt like home!! It was very well taken care of, and completely furnished, felt like we were staying in someone’s house for the weekend! Would very much recommend and I’ll be coming back to stay in the future!

The town of Clayton was a second home to my husband’s family. We went down decided to stay at K’s motel and had a lovely time. The beds were incredibly comfy and the place was spotless. Thank you for hosting a few Canadians in this wonderful community!!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

We enjoyed our stay at Larry’s! It was so close to town but still felt private. Very comfortable, had everything we needed! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we took care of some business in the area. The cabin is off the beaten path and has a cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay! I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb all over the US, and this is my favorite. All the amenities, and everything you might could need. 10/10 recommend! Desiree is the best.

We stayed at Kasey's cabin for a last minute snowmobile trip. It was perfect! Very clean nice set up. Great location right on the trail we went late season and still were able to ride right out. If you are a 1st timer to Tug hill in the winter don't listen to the GPS if you're coming in from the south and just take 81n to 177. Thanks again for a great stay!!
