This hut is situated in western part of Himalaya region of Nepal, in lower Mustang at the height of 3800 m from sea level. This is surrounded with beautiful mountains like mt. Dhaulagiri, mt. Nilgiri, Annapurna etc. This hut provides most peaceful and fresh atmosphere. This hut is suitable for those who are willing to relax in high altitude, specially for few weeks after a long work in crowed world. staymustang Tashi Thang Wel Comes all the guests from the entire world.
“I was hesitant to rent out Nyima's place. I work remotely as a programmer, and I have to be online 8h/day and it seemed incredulous that I could have that in some mud-and-stone hut located at 3800m in a forgotten and remote part of Nepal. But there it was... The internet wasn't super fast, but as Nyima told me, on average I got 0.7-1 Mbit/s, which was enough both for visiting websites, coding activities (git, gitlab) and even voice calls with screen sharing. When I needed faster Internet, I went to the Jhong village, some 200m below/15 mins walk, where I could get a 3G+ connection (around 10Mbit/s) and grid electricity. Yeah, electricity... the hut has a solar-powered one, which works really well during the day, but as soon as sun disappears, the battery was quickly drained, if the notebook was connected. That wasn't a big issue, as I tried to charge it during the day, or go down to the village in the afternoon and charge from the grid. Just a word of caution: the reliability of the grid in Nepal is way better than what it was years ago, but power cuts still do happen. So if you really need it all the time, there is some risk that with a super bad weather and power cut, you'll be left without it. Other than that, the hut got rather chilly in the evenings, but that's expected being at this altitude and with -8* or -10* outside. So bring a warm sleeping bag, if like me, you plan to be there at the end of October. Nyima himself was super helpful and communicative. A great host indeed and has helped me with a number of issues. So... tl;dr: a great place to work for a few days, if you're willing to take some risks and rough it a bit. And if what you're looking for is just a place to chill out, look no more. You've found it. And with views of Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna and Nilgiri Central.”

Sunita’s Homestay is a typical mountain village house in Manang, at the heart of the Annapurna region. Although many tourists hiking along the Annpurna circuit choose Manang to acclimatize and have a rest, most of them stay in comfortable hotels, and miss the chance to meet local Manangi people and live a true village experience. Staying at Sunita’s homestay, you will be one of the few travellers to reach beyond the highly touristy Manang area and connect with the unique Manangi culture.
“Sunita homestay is not the typical hotels that guides bring you to on the Annapurna circuit. If you are trekking alone/without a guide I highly recommend staying at Sunitas as you will get a true cultural experience. She is a very hardworking host and just staying with her will give you the opportunity to learn about the challenges and beauties of living on the mountains. Her homestay in Manang does not have wifi however there is wifi and an even better view in her chullu west hotel in Gunseung. I would recommend this to anyone willing to live a more basic lifestyle while being surrounded by a strong culture and the beautiful Annapurna range.”
