The little orange house located next door to the famous Fogo Island Inn. One double bed in a private bedroom with bathroom, living room, and kitchen. This house with views of the Joe Batt's Arm harbour on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other will make you want to stay forever.
“One of my best Airbnb stays yet and I’ve stayed in Toronto, Bali, Lima, etc! The place was a cozy salt box type house only a few seconds away from the water and the beautiful Fogo inn. I spent my days reading, looking out on the water, while hearing the snow blow ( ++ fast wifi too!) On my last day my car got stuck in the snow and Owens brother helped me get it out without wanting anything in return. Hospitality was outstanding! Would love to stay again :)”
Come visit us in our lovely ocean front property over looking BEAUTIFUL Fogo Harbour. Located just minutes from Brimestone Head and many other tourist attractions! This cozy 2 bedroom includes a fully equipped kitchen, sleeps 4 people and laundry on site. For those with kids, playground just minutes away!
“Beautiful view from the back deck. Very clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need. Comfortable beds. Only recommendation is to add screens to windows. We could only open one window. We had hot weather while we were there. The house was extremly hot which made it hard to sleep.”
Authentic Newfoundland Experience! This is a salt box style home and has a spectacular view of the harbour. This home is only a 10 minute walk from Brimstone Head Walking Trail and from the main area which has a Bank, Beaches Bar and Grill, Riffs Clothing Store, Chinese Restaurant and many Museums. When taking the Ferry to and from our island please note the summer months are very busy and I suggest arriving in line about 1.5 hours prior to departure.
“We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Sonya's place very much. Her saltbox house is right on the water with fantastic views. The house itself is a wonderful example of a traditional saltbox with low ceilings and small rooms. We loved the authenticity of staying there while on the island. The house is well equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fine and the washer and dryer were an extra bonus. Unfortunately, a cold, wet storm limited our outdoor activities during our stay but we still managed to get out and explore the island and the small outports. The storm finally blew through on our last afternoon and we were able to take a windy hike on the beautiful Lion's Den Trail. Fogo Island is a very interesting and beautiful place to visit and Sonya's house is a wonderful place to stay.”
