Vacation rentals in Johnstone Strait

If you want a private cottage right on the water - this one is for you! What an amazing location. James' cottage is right on the water and there is a beautiful rocky beach to explore. The cottage is cozy and the kitchen is well stocked. Very private! The views are amazing. We had a chilly afternoon so we spent the day looking out the windows at the view. James was kind enough to let us know when there were whales passing! This is a very special and unique spot - I highly recommend booking!

Our stay exceeded expectations. The photos accurately reflected the space, in some cases actually downplaying it, and the furnishings were good quality and very comfortable. Kelli was responsive, friendly, and did a fantastic job supplying the house with everything you might need. This was easily the most I have felt at home in an AirBnB. One downside is the water, as a bunch of city-folk we did find it quite smelly (showers primarily) and did not like the taste, but we brought in our own water to drink and cook so this was honestly a minor issue we were prepared for. I could go on for days but it was an amazing weekend, we will definitely be booking again.

We had EVERYTHING we needed. It was clean, comfortable and surpassed our expectations. Wonderful kitchen and the shower and bath are MARVELOUS. We sat by the firepit and watched the seals for HOURS! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

Surrounded by nature and wildlife made for an absolutely stunning and relaxing stay. Whether it was having a fire by the lake, soaking in the hot tub or cozying up inside, it was all perfection! Everything was so clean and the hosts were incredibly sweet. I will 100% be back!

Stunning place literally steps from the ocean. Clean, comfortable, the attention to detail in stocking the kitchen with all one needs to make a fabulous meal. Our only wish was a fire table on the deck. We loved our stay!

I was lucky enough to stay at Gord’s place for 3 weeks and I had an amazing time. The kitchen was VERY well equipped with all the appliances and cookware you can ask for. Very comfortable beds! The standout feature of this place was the amazing view of the ocean. I’d highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if given the chance

We stayed at Lina’s for three nights. The beautiful sunrise from the living room was quite special. Lina was easy to communicate with, making the resolution to a little hiccup when we checked in. We love to return to Campbell River in the near future!

Cathy is a Superhost in my books. She thought of every detail, communicated clearly, proactively and responsively. Easy check in/out process. The covered porch allowed us to sit outside by the ocean, even during inclement weather. Cathy had even turned on the fireplace for our arrival (it was a cold and rainy day)! Kitchen was stocked with essential cooking accessories, spices, oil, coffee, tea, etc. What a welcoming feeling!! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!

This was a very nice place in a very remote part of BC. It’s a beautiful, well maintained, well situated apartment with a very friendly, responsive host! Wld def stay again and recommend to friends and family!
