“The Bethel House and The Lodge were two of the best AirBNBs that I've ever stayed in. The house was sparkling clean, isolated on beautiful property, and equipped with more kitchen and cooking equipment than a man could dream of! Emily was an incredibly accommodating host, responding to questions quickly. Would love to come back again and relax in their Haven!”

“My expectations for this unit were blown out of the water! I always worry that pictures on a listing will be glossed over. Not with this one. The unit is as high end as it looks. The views are better -- because pictures never do a view justice. The unit has high end finishes and is stylishly decorated. The master bedroom was a king bed and comfy. The views from every window are spectacular. Lara promised privacy and she delivered. The entire back of the properties, including a driveway, was ours and ours alone for the weekend. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental. We had brought a lot of food so we could minimize our time out in public -- and we had all the necessities (spices, EVOO, etc) needed to prepare the meals. (And she had Hellmann's on hand. Need I say more?) She had told me ahead of time that their water was triple filtered so I didn't bring any water. The water was the best I've ever tasted! We had a lovely evening with a bonfire and s'mores -- they provide firewood. The area under the main deck is dry, so even if you have rain you can enjoy the huge hammock, outdoor table for al fresco meals, and rocking chairs. The view is unreal. Even though we had some fog and rain during our stay, you could see the amazing view of the mountains. The fog actually made them more spectacular. This unit would be fine for two couples as the second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath across the hall. The view from the queen bedroom is actually better than the master! Lara would respond quickly via text to any questions I had. We had a small issue with the master bedroom TV, and with our permission, she came in to fix it while we were out. And she wasn't put out at all when I accidentally set off the smoke alarm while making dinner. She was the perfect host. Despite the remote feeling of the property, it's only about ten minutes from I-40. So very easily accessible. When we originally planned the trip we thought we may have to stay in with only some hiking, but a few days prior, NC opened up for their phase 2. So we actually ended up able to eat lunch out and visit three breweries between Maggie Valley and Waynesvile. We had no idea how charming Waynesville was! If you go, you must check it out. I told my husband that this is going to be our new go-to spot in the Smokies. Much lower key/less commercialized than Pigeon Force/Gatlinburg. If you're torn on where to stay, stay here!”
** Attention: Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. ** Greg Sollars Donna Sollars and son D.J. would love you to visit our Mountain Getaway in WaynesVille NC. Just minutes from the Smokey Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the famous Maggie Valley you will enjoy unbelievable views and sweet mountain air. The cabin is about 30 min from Asheville and tons of restaurants, breweries and shops.
“Great, private cabin spot! All trails we wanted to do were within 1-2 hour drive. Good for day trips. Good amenities - had all the pots and pans you'd need as well as utensils. There is a Keurig! Really appreciated having all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer also worked great. We enjoyed the fire pit. It's about a 20 minute drive to Waynesville. The gravel road is not so bad, but I do recommend taking it slow and parking at the top of the driveway.”
