Great place, near the lake and hiking through the woods was fantastic

This place is AH-mazing and we honestly didn't want to leave. So peaceful, out of the city but still so close to all of the wedding events that we were visiting St. James for. LOVED the area, the quiet and everything about the farm style, eclectic house. I want a make-up table now (even though I don't wear much make-up), and I want some COWS, lol! I only rated getting in lower stars because my husband and I are "old" and unfamiliar with how all the different newish keyless entry locks work and that took us a hot minute to get right. 🤦 #wedumb 😂 If we ever need a place in St. James to stay, this will definitely be our first choice!

Loved staying here. Easy check in, super spacious land that was perfect for my huge dog and I to roam. Perfect stop during our very long roadtrip! Bed was comfy too.

Returned for our second weekend visit and this place is still perfection! The master bed is extemely comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. Already looking forward to our next visit!

It was a great experience. We returned after a stay here last year at one of the cabins. Great experience both times. Due to extreme rain they came and helped us navigate the road into the resort. Super helpful and responsive. Wonderful location!

Where to begin…from the moment my sister and our spouses selected this house for our meet in the middle of our states visit Brandon was quick to reach out and ensure everything was perfect for our visit! The location is perfect…right on the river and walkable to restaurants, winery, and shops. The house had so many fun extra’s that we really enjoyed! The plethora of games, record player/great albums, foosball, putting green and much more. We stayed up late playing records. Outside was a beautiful deck with a great view of the river, lots of seating and a fire pit with wood/lighter fluid to start a fire quickly. We had the best time just sitting around the fire and enjoying the river and the beautiful evening. The house is equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The house was super cute/cozy with comfy beds. We loved that we had several choices for dining just a short walk away. The bike trail behind house was great! We love the house, hospitality and town. We will return!

My only regret regarding our stay was the weather! Rained and stormed for most of our time there so we weren't able to take much advantage of the 50 acres. :( However, the house itself was so spacious that we didn't feel "trapped" being stuck inside. The covered wrap around porch allowed us to sit outside and play games even when it was raining. Lots of spaces to both hang out as a family and have some alone time if needed inside with TVs in all the rooms. The three bedrooms and 2.5 baths was perfect for us and our two teenagers - everyone felt they had their own space. John was very quick with responses and even checked in on us after a pretty nasty storm had passed to make sure we were ok. All in all, a great place that we would definitely stay at again - hopefully with better weather!

Had a wonderful time in downtown Grafton for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The house is in a great location for walking distance to all attractions, restaurants, bars, shops and more. It was nice to not have to drive anywhere after celebrating her birthday! We will definitely be back!
