Welcome to The Red Barn Retreat! We are so excited for you to come visit our peaceful place. The barn was built in the early 1800’s and we completed its renovation in 2014. It is special to our family and we hope it will be for you as well! It is a wonderful spot to relax and refresh and make lasting memories. We want to assure you that we are taking extra care to thoroughly clean and disinfect before and after every guest following guidelines laid out by the CDC and Airbnb.
“What a unique facility, really enjoyed the barn. Only a couple of negatives one being that we found it very hot (was also abnormally warm everywhere for this time of year) and the second being that there was only foam plates and bowls, which is very wasteful a cheap set from Walmart would have been nice.but overall I recommend everyone should stay here it’s close to hershey and even Harrisburg. Quite neighbourhood with mainly Italian restaurants on offer and has a nice supermarket also in town.”

“I really enjoyed staying at Paul and Wendy’s place. I only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again if I come visit the area. The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nighttime when I arrived and had a little trouble locating the place but Paul was able to help out quickly! Thanks for everything!”
Furnished apartment, full kitchen, private entrance over a home, off-street parking; full-size bed. Sofa (NOT sofa-bed), cot available. Electric heat and AC, internet WiFi. NOT disabled accessible. Off-road parking available in front of garage behind house. (I have just learned that it is not allergy-friendly, but not which allergy it bothers. This is the first complaint I've heard in the last 30 years about that, but keep it in mind. The house is next to a mountain and lots of "nature.")
“We really enjoyed our stay here and as hosts ourselves, we need to step up our game! Deb goes above and beyond and has literally thought of everything. There are all sorts of essential things available in the bathroom as well as the kitchen. There are notes throughout the apartment with instructions on how to operate the thermostat, WiFi passcode, etc. and we really appreciated that. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and well taken care of. We had to leave suddenly due to our son being sick and left some things behind, I contacted Deb to let her know and she kindly offered to send them to us! I feel like I have a new friend and I hope she will come to visit us in Virginia one day!”
