The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.

Der Schrickenhof ist ein klassischer Vierkanthof bestehend aus 2 Einfamilienhäusern, Stallgebäude, Halle, Werkstatt und Lagerräumen. Das Ferienhaus steht unter Denkmalschutz und wurde liebevoll restauriert und saniert. Der Charme und viele Details wurden erhalten und hervorgehoben. Im idyllischen Innenhof wächst wilder Wein und man kann die Abendsonne genießen.
