We have 2 ecological bungalows with panoramic views of the Pearl Lagoon, next to a new build hotel. We also organize tours to the Pearl Cays, the indigenous and afro-descendant communities nearby, as well as other destinations, free use of kayaks or sunset picnics in the lagoon. We try to offer our guests a true Pearl Lagoon experience!
“We had an amazing time staying at the Queen Lobster Eco Bungalow. Nuria and her husband Pedro were perfect hosts. They really made us feel at home. We were sad leaving after a week! The place has an amazing view on the lagoon and the mangroves which you can enjoy from one of the two hammocks (or go out on the kayaks provided). Because of the constant breeze the temperature inside the bungalow is perfect and we had no mosquitos inside. Nuria and Pedro organise tours to the Pearl Keys, (the most wonderful deserted white sand paradise-like islands we've ever seen) and to a local jungle farm, where we saw a sloth and other wildlife. Don't forget to visit Nuria's Cousin Byron at the local bakery, the ginger cake is a real treat! But definitely try his other sweet delights as well. This is the place where you can really kick back and enjoy the Caribbean rhythm accompanied with coconut shrimp, lobster, rum and ice cold beer.”
Casa Blanca is a tranquil hotel located in Pearl Lagoon, the true heart of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. Here you will experience excellent Caribbean cooking, hear Kriol and Miskito spoken in the streets, and feel the stress melt away to the sound of Reggae music...
“Dell was very welcoming and had the room setup with such short notice on our end! The place was lovely and located in a central area with everything you need to feel more than comfortable.”
Lakia Tara is a Eco-touristic project created by the families of Kahkabila, one of the Miskitu villages in Pearl Lagoon Municipality (Basin).
