“Wonderful hospitality. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Great location. The compound is a bit off the beaten path, but very easy for taxi/uber drivers to find and a nice location to get outside a bit, away from the dust and noise of city traffic. Each staff member is super helpful and yet respectful of your privacy. The dogs are a fun bonus. They are friendly and only interact with guests who give them attention. This was my first time in this house, but second time staying in the compound. Looking forward to returning!”
The Cave is a romantic secluded holiday home on Champagne Ridge exclusively for couples. Hidden away, nestled against natural rock, The Cave offers the ultimate feel in warmth and coziness with uninterrupted views across the Great Rift Valley. The perfect place to spend some quality time with your loved one. The Cave in addition to The Castle and Fawlty Tower is one of 3 holiday homes spread across 10 acres of African bush. The Cave is located 12kms from Kona Baridi (the map is incorrect).
“This place is like a little juvel in Kenya! The scenery is amazing and fantastic to observe the unspoiled nature from the terrace or in the morning from the bed. It gives a unique feeling that one side of the room is the actual rock where it's built and the other side is only windows making you feel in your own little romantic cave. Deborah is a warm and helpful person that made our stay super comfortable:)”
Quiet serene environment with lush green gardens. Nearby attractions are the Nairobi National Park; Giraffe Centre; Karen Blixen Museum; Ngong hills and the Sheldrick elephant orphanage.
“If you don’t need to travel into the city daily and you are staying for say a week or more, then this is a great place to stay. PS Don’t think the family is not well off because they live away from the city. The opposite applies, they are genuinely very well off and the security is good.”
