“This place is a real gem, hidden in the middle of the almost endless vineyards, in the heart of the Kyperounta area. I like traveling to the Cyprus mountain villages, but I've never seen such a gorgeous view from anywhere else! I was a bit worried before the arrival as I read from previous reviews that the road is a bit frightening, but in summer it seems easy affordable for almost every car. And the host, Constantinos, kindly guided us to the house. And, again, the view is absolutely worth it to drive all of this road! The house itself has a modern design with a huge wooden terrace all around and big windows. It is very comfortable to stay there as it has all the necessary amenities, even a big bath, and a barbeque. My family and I absolutely adored the possibility to watch the sunset lying on a sunbed or to have breakfast outside under the pine branches. The time we spent there was so relaxing and tranquil, that we felt as we are somewhere in the mountain retreat. For those who don't want to feel far from civilization, there is a very fast wi-fi and Netflix in the house :) Constantinos is a great host! Very helpful and caring! It was a pleasure to meet him. And it was a unique experience to stay in this house. I hope, we will come to spend a couple of days there again soon!”

“Kyriacos and Droso were excellent hosts taking extra care to make our stay extremely comfortable. Droso provided home made snacks and sweets which were delicious. The apartment the spacious and had everything you needed and more (lots of towels, cleaning materials, tea, coffee, pots and pans etc). The heating worked very well and even though we stayed during an extremely cold spell of weather we never felt it! Allocated parking was very convenient and local bakery and fruiteria were excellent. The location of Kyperounda is good - you can drive to most cities and villages within an hour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.”
Situated at an elevation of 1200 m in the heart of Troodos mountains, the house is ideal for leisure time or taking trips in the area. The surrounding area is immersed in pine trees, very relaxing.
“We were travelling as two families, 4 grown ups and three kids, and we didn't know what to expect, really. It was hard to find a place in the area that was affordable and a bit off the beaten track, which is what we like. We weren't sure when looking at the pictures, but we loved it from the moment we walked into the spacious house. The father welcomed us and showed us around. Huge kitchen, lovely fireplace and great barbecue place outdoors. A couple of toys for the kids even. Huge house that feels like a home! We loved it. We could even have breakfast in the sun on the huge terrace (in march). The only downside was that the heating and the hot water weren't working as expected, we had a couple of trobles with it, but in the end we all had a hot shower and weren't cold during the night (lots of blankets provided). It's not a "fancy" place, but it's lovely and homely, in a great spot in the middle of the woods, fairly close to all the "attractions" in the area. And we got offered a night for free because of the troubles we encountered (of which we couldn't make use of, but the thought behind it was still super nice). I hope others enjoy this place as much as we have.”
