“My husband and I stayed at Nikos house with our baby this winter and had an amazing time! Not only is the area beautiful, sunny and warm, but it is also welcoming and calm during this off-season time. Nikos's house is situated very close to Phaistos and the very beautiful beach of Kalamaki, where taking an afternoon walk made us feel like being the only ones on earth. The house in itself is simply perfect : clean, very well decorated, well equiped and comfortable. Nikos was an incredible host and was waiting for us when we got to the house. He had left us some cookies, raki, honey, oranges from his garden and olive oil that he himself produces! When we were worried that our baby got sick, he answered the phone late in the evening, found a pediatrician and came to support us in 5 minutes! We could not be more grateful! We strongly recommend staying at Nikos place!”
Sweet little stonehouse in a quiet area of Kamilari, and with a beautiful view to the sea, the Messara and to Psiloritis. The house is surrounded by olivetrees and a garden on the front. It has a nice terrace with a pergola, and you can also enter the roof where the view is fantastic. The house has a separately bedroom with a double bed and closets. It has an open kitchen/living area with a couch that can be turned into a bed. The bathroom has a washingmachine.
“Livhouse is a tiny, super-cosy, perfectly equipped stone house. A small olive grove and garden around the house ensures privacy. There are other villas around but you feel secluded. From the porch you can admire the sunset sipping wine or a frape'. A small spiral staircase leads to the roof where you have a spectacular view over the gulf of Messara, Mount Kedros, the Psiloritis range and Phaistos. A five-minute walk brings you to the centre of Kamilari, where you find a well assorted supermarket, a popular kafenion and a couple of tavernas. A bit farther away you will find also a bakery and other tavernas. Car access can be laboured to timid drivers because it is on two or three hundred meters of a narrow dirt/concrete road, with a couple of sharp bends and a steep section. I personally did not find it an issue. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and totally recommend it.”
The house of Papa in the mountain is 300 meters above Kamilari up the hill, offering an unlimited view of the surrounding area from the village of Pitsidia to the island of Paximadia located in the sea.The town is built on an area of 4000 meters, planted with olives, aromatic plants and flowers. There is no snack for the daily needs of the visitors.Other is ideal for people and families looking for calmness, relaxation and contact with nature.
“We had a really beautiful stay at To spiti tou papa sto vouno ! It was the best place during our travel and we would come back everytime. Ioanna is unbelievable nice, she cooked us a wonderful meal and even helped us in a really desperate car situation! The garden is like a dream with all the fruits and vegetables growing there ! It‘s a must to stay there for some nights if you are planning to spend time in the area! A perfect place to calm down and enjoy your vacation!”
