North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. The apartment is located outside Katharinenheerd on the Eiderstedt peninsula. Our house is located directly on the main road to St. Peter-Ording. St. Peter-Ording can be easily reached by bike, train and car. A terrace is around the corner of the house. A table tennis table, sandbox and children's vehicles are available to make all children feel comfortable. A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!
