“Great apartment with everything you need. Especially convenient was the easy parking just in front of the apartment, and the incredibly close location to the lighthouse beach and archaeological park. The daily electricity cap was easy to abide by for us, but since we stayed in winter, there was no need for use of AC.”

“I have just spent a week with my husband and two of our sons aged 21 and 13 staying in this appartment hosted by Yury. This is only the second time we've ever used Airbnb and both times we have been very happy. Temperature was 28-30 degrees every day for the month of October. Yury is a lovely gentleman who was very resposive to my emails and also very friendly in person. He met us from the airport and also took us to the airport to go back to the UK. He recommended lots of places to go and restaurants to eat in; all of which we did and we were not disappointed. I note from the last review that there had been some problems with the swimming pool and I was slightly concerned before leaving the UK as to what would happen when we got to Paphos as we did book the appartment also because of the pool use. However, Yury had arranged for the four of us to use the spa, sauna, gym and indoor swimming pool of the 'Alexander the Great' hotel which is not even a 5 minute walk away for the week duration at no extra cost to us. We all used the facilities and the staff in the Alexander are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool orignally intended to be used at this appartment is under serious renovation and is not useable and so this was a nice gesture on the part of Yury. However, to be honest we used the beach every day (sun beds 2 Euros each) as were the umbrellas and only used the Alexander facilities to start the day. With regards to the appartment; this is very clean and had all facilities as mentioned in the description. Towels were provided; basic condiments, beans for the coffee machine, tea towels, soaps and shampoos etc so you do not need to really bring anything except your clothes! I used the washing machine and all works fine. Location is quiet (although as it was October we were nearing out of season so I can't speak for the summer months) and very local to everything including shops for milk, bread etc (literally 2 minute walk). Walk into the harbour is an easy walk of about 20 minutes where there are lots of restaurants, bars, shops and people selling trips etc. We didn't eat in the Harbour as we found they didn't have to 'try as hard' because they had the 'views' so tended to opt for nearer to home to eat. Plus some of the bars were showing football etc and we're more into traditional food and experiences so wasn't interested in visiting those bars and restaurants. I think the stay in general was very good for us and I would certainly go to Paphos again but again as a winter destination as when speaking to the local people and Yury; the summer months can get into the 40's. So therefore as we visited in October; it was more quieter and the majority of holiday makers in the area appeared to be much older which is worth considering if you don't want to be surrounded by teenagers etc or if you do; you might want to go a different month. A word of caution if you are taking young children who are in push chairs to Paphos that the conditions of the pavements are pretty bad in terms of tree roots pushing up the paving slabs everywhere and also things like wires left coming out of the pavement, tree trunk stubs etc. I'm not saying every pavement is like that but please be cautious and aware that you have to look where you are walking. It's a different way of working to the UK and you have to respect that there are no cones around anything like that and the street lighting may be a bit dark. In general; would I go again? - absolutely. I had no expectations of the trip and was going with an open mind. We all really had a great time; food and local wine were fantastic, people are lovely, beaches and surrounding areas are very clean and most importantly you feel safe. Water in the sea was lovely and warm - a few rocks to navigate but nothing serious and the beaches (sandy) didn't suddenly drop i.e. you could walk out a fair bit and still touch the bottom. Current was calm with no big waves to knock you over. Appartment was very clean and had first class amenities and Yury was very responsive and I could easily get hold of him during the stay if need be.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Deni's cozy and stylish apartment. The place is hardly a 10-minute walk from the Kato Paphos Main Bus Station (called Harbour). All amenities, including air conditioner (cooling and heating mode), fully-equipped kitchen, water heater, washing machine etc are in place and the entire apartment is sparkling clean. If you forget to get your travel adapter (like me), she has a couple of them in the house. The many house plants, the peaceful balcony, the tasteful color themes, and the beautiful bedroom lamps, made it really memorable for us. We enjoyed strolling by the beach, visiting the archeological sites, and eating at the local restaurants (try The Moorings Cafe!), all within walking distance of the apartment.”
