The accommodation is located in a newly renovated part of a barn with floor heating in all rooms and a new fully-tiled bathroom and kitchen. Gekås can be reached in 25 minutes by car, the coast with swimming and surfing and Varberg's city center is 20 minutes away. Several golf courses are in the vicinity and Knektagården's Dog Boarding is a few minutes away. Social cats and sheep are in the yard.

One of the last 20 houses with a thatched roof. The house was renovated in 2019 with new underfloor heating, electricity, water and drainage. The windows have been scraped off for paint and repainted with linseed oil paint. We have preserved so much of the old from the house and recycled kitchen cabinets partially, benches and panels from Vesterø church etc. The previous owner's things are also reused, especially pictures. Close to the large forest area at Gjorslev Manor is "Bakkeskov", which is a beautiful and cozy 4-wing farm. The guest house is in the original barn building, which, after a thorough renovation, has achieved a fantastic transformation. Visible beams and idyllic stable windows preserve the authentic look of a former barn. In the 78 m2, there is both a cozy sleeping area with a double bed /B:180 cm, as well as an open kitchen-living room environment, as well as a modern bathroom with shower.

Rural idyll

Holiday apartment on the 1st floor of our disused country house. It is about 30m2. There is a double bed (160x200), armchairs, coffee table and TV. Dining area for 4 and a small kitchen with fridge, freezer, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc. As well as a bathroom with shower. The apartment is locked for the rest of the home, and has its own rooftop terrace from which there is also a private entrance. Free wifi. We have 2 horses, chickens and a cute outdoor cat.

Skævinge, the old henhouse in rural surroundings

We have renovated the old hen house into a small cozy annex. The house has one room and is located on its own on our small country estate, and we have 12 hens and a rooster that graze freely on the plot in front of the house. The farm is originally from 1914 and is surrounded by fields and overlooking the Strø Mountains. On the property you will also find our café and farm shop, which sells coffee, cake, sandwiches, brunch, etc. Opening hours Friday-Sunday 10 am - 5 pm

A silent and beautiful place in south of Sweden. We have restored the barn gently in a Swedish/Danish countrystile. Cows and sometimes horses around the house as well as wildlife like Moose, wild boar, deers, cranes etc. A lot to visit for both children and adults, we have made a guide for inspiration. Nice places for walks, coffee, tea and dinner. Perfect for nature lovers and families who want to have real family time. No wifi but a lot to do inside and outside.

The guest apartment is located in the barn at our farm in Stigfjorden Nature Reserve. You see the open landscape with fields and farms, behind mountains and forests to walk in. Nearest bath is 1 km. The silence is significant even during the summer period. To Skärhamn 12 km, Pilane Art 8 km and to Sundsby manor 7 km. The kitchenette is for simpler meals, a grill is available and space to sit outside even when it's raining. Children and pets are welcome.
