The house is beautiful, clean, cared for, tidy... It is very spacious. And the area where it is, it's beautiful, a little out of the city, but that makes it special. That has been very helpful at all times. We were very comfortable in this home.

Lovely grandma vibe by the Simo River! Comfortable space and an excellent sauna with a wood stove! Yes, it was a good idea between travel days. So much left to shrink by Simojoki to stay there for a few days to explore the area. If this happens, we'll be sure to stay with Tepo again. Thanks again, Teppo!

A perfect stop for a larger group, on the way from southern Finland to the North. Everything worked flawlessly and the equipment was adequate.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

Airbnb is the only way to go! Irma offers a great apartment where you feel at home. Everything is available and in the right place. Irma helps at any time with great tips for the area and life in Lapland. We were able to see the northern lights through her tips and Santa Claus was also on our to-do list. Without words to describe how satisfied I was, the apartment is perfect, everything clean and organized. A perfect view, looks like we're looking at a painting. It has all kitchen utensils for those that like to cook. Hosts are helpful, they respond quickly. Nothing to complain about, only compliments. Thank you

Nice place. Room for two people galore

Thanks Merja ! It was nice to come back to Kemi after 15 years. We enjoyed being able to get from the apartment by walking to restaurants and the entire city center was right there right in front of the door. Enjoyed the vibrant look of Kemi and how the sea area had turned into a lovely sea boulevard. It was always lovely to come to a cozy and super clean home. Thanks a lot!

Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

A beautiful studio apartment only a short walk away from the railway station, with a beautiful view of the sea. The place is cozy and cute, and is walkable to the main attractions around. Seija is a very understanding and kind host, and made everything very easy. If you're looking for a quiet alternative retreat to Rovaniemi, Kemi is the place. And if you visit Kemi, specieally with your better half, this is the perfect stay. If you've come so far in my review, then just book it! Two thumbs up! :)

A very clean studio I will gladly return

This little apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It's within comfortable walking distance from both the train and bus stations. I couldn't get the internet connection to work but I am not technically minded so that could have been me. Marco tried extremely hard to help but as he wasn't close by couldn't do so in person. I used Kemi as a base for a day trip to Rovenniemi and I would suggest this as a great way to escape the overwhelming Santa Claus tourist hype there.
