“Bob and Margies place is ideal for those coming to the Sierras to enjoy the great outdoors. The place is ideally situated along the historic 395 and easily accessible to the majestic Inyo National Forest as well as the Ancient Bristlecone NF. We enjoyed the peaceful setting of Bob and Margie’s ‘piece of paradise’ in their backyard with the brook running through the property. We will come back here again.”
Due to COVID-19, I will be taking extra steps to clean and sanitize after each stay. For clarification, the house used to be a shared space (which you may read in some reviews). However, guests can now enjoy renting out the entire house for themselves. I will not be staying in the house with you and you will not be sharing the space with others. I will be on the property in a separate dwelling. Location is a five minute drive to downtown!
“Jasmine was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The bed/bath was clean and private. A shared kitchen was nice to not have to eat out every night as well. The location is very nice for outdoor activities but is still very close to town. If you're fine with older style houses, then this place is pretty great.”
A great year round comfortable one bedroom (large) house with new furniture and beds and a cozy wood stove. Large yard and horse pasture. It is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Sierra's. Sleeps 6, 2 queen beds and 1 queen rollout sofa.
“Paul was a great host and his property was the perfect combination of rustic cabin feel but with enough modern amenities for a pleasant, relaxed stay. It was an ideal location for a bouldering base camp with less than ten minute drives to Happies/Sads parking and quick trips into town for supplies. I also enjoyed meeting/conversing with Paul and appreciated the personal attention he gives to his property and visitors - a very 'airbnb' experience rather than just a generic hotel you show up to for the night. I'll definitely try to stay here again next time I visit Bishop. Thanks Paul!”
