A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.
“The henhouse is a lovely place. It is cozy, cozy and fully equipped. Delicious fresh eggs, milk (including milk frother), coffee and a number of other things are available. The garden is spacious. Parasol, chairs, table and lounger are provided. Hanneke & Arie are very hospitable. In short, a must. I like to come back sometime.”
A cozy room in a shared apartment, located in Delft. Close to the university, train station, the city center (+/- 10 min by bike). Several supermarkets are within walking distance and the bus stop is just at the end of the street. We are a couple that loves to travel and that's why we would like to open our home to other travelers as well. When we travel we appreciate a great airbnb experience where you can interact with locals and feel at home in a new city.
“The room is as advertised. Quite cozy! This is my first BnB that fulfilled the very definition of bed and BREAKFAST. Breakfast was always quite good and generous! Crystal clear instructions regarding checking in and out. The room has an amazing view. There is a nearby Delft Campus Train station and Den Haag and Rotterdam are easily accessible. Tessa and Rick's place is also quite accessible from the center and TU Delft. Plus, their cat Mare is also amazing. Would choose the place again without hesitation. My best recommendations!”
Truly unique in its form and location! This open en light space comes with a waterfront view of the Schie river, a deck to wonder off in the summer evenings, a well equipped kitchen to serve your appetite and a queen size bed to relax and enjoy the water rippling. *due to the corona virus, we are taking additional cleaning measures such as disinfecting door handles etc.*
“I have just left and I am already looking forward to come back. The place is both relaxing and lively. On a bank holiday there’s day transit in the canal that you see from the privacy of your yard — very missed people-watching now that everything is closed! And on weekdays and on mornings and evenings you just have a stunning natural view for yourself. You can also go for a walk in the marshes behind the house. The place is easily reachable from Delft — I actually walked from the centre for a weekend away. I would highly recommend this for a short recovery break! Wifi was generally good, place very clean and Nick really approachable and fast to respond.”
