“Carina and Danie are exceptional hosts willing to share their hospitality. The food was homemade and absolutely wonderful. Carina makes her own cheeses and dried meat and what a treat they are. The farm they own was available to wander around and enjoy. We would stay there again in a heart beat.”

“This is the place we have stayed in while in Namibia. The mountainhut is situated with an fantastic view up in the mountains on their farm. It's a bit of a drive from the main road but what a drive it is getting there. It took us much longer than expected because of all the photostops that we did taking photos of the scenery, baboons, mountainzebras, birds e.tc. We really felt welcome from the moment that we arrived and Jaco's dad meet us in front of the farmhouse. The mountainhut is very cosy and has everthing that you need. In the morning Jaco's dad took us for a drive down to the river in his 4x4. The rivertour was well worth it with lots of animals and the most amazing scenery. We also had lunch there wich his wife had prepared. The afternoon was spent hiking up on one of the surrounding ridges wich are filled with boulders. We are so glad that we stumbled on this fantastic place with these supernice and fantastic hosts that runs the place. This is definitely a place that you don't want to miss!!”
