“We had a lovely stay at vimeyies's place. He personally came to pick us from the dzuku trek point at Zakhama, it was really thoughtful as it was raining cats and dogs. He has a lovely place with view of the paddy fields, the family was very friendly and caring. Vimeyie also arranger for a bon fire for us which was the icing on the cake. The drawing room and kitchen are shared spaces where you can interact with the family and also cook for yourself if you want. The house has a common entrance. Thanks for a comforting stay.”
A beautiful home away from home in the heart of Kohima town with clean and spacious rooms which is just two to three minutes drive from the town. The spectacular view of the sunset and sunrise can be witnessed from our home with a cup of hot blended coffee. Our home is surrounded by beautiful mountains on all sides and you will get to experience the most amazing and enchanting sights at dawn if you are a morning person.
“If you are looking for a quaint place away from the noise of the road then please don’t think twice. Kenei is one of the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever stayed with. You’ll receive some special kitchen love spoiling their guests with great food. He even helped us by telling us good places to go see around Kohima and on Sunday he even took us to his village and showed us around. He’ll always be smiling and speaks to everyone affectionately, inspite of being so busy with his important work.”
Perfect base camp for Dzukou or Mt. Japfu trekking and Hornbill fest with Kisama Heritage Village 1 KM away. An authentic Naga experience we share with guest. Real, warm and close to nature. Not a hotel enterprise. Our home is located right in the middle of all Naga cultural and heritage activities. Nestled on the lap of Mt. Japfu, it is peaceful and scenic but conveniently located too. Just lazying in the beautiful terrace fields is just walkable distance.
“It was an amazing and comfortable stay at the Nativestories. The amenities are basic, but the hospitality more than made up for it. The room was clean and well kept. While there was running water in the bathroom, you need to request for hot water which was provided immediately. The location is most suitable for folks wanting to spend most of their time in Kisama village, the location of the Hornbill festival. It is about 1.5 KM from Kisama village. Thanks to Baby and her crew for making the stay memorable. It was like being with a family and they were lovely hosts.”
