Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kihei

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house/location. It had all the space and amenities to make it a comfortable stay for our party of 6. We loved waking up every morning and walking over to Kraken Coffee for a delicious cup of coffee and then later walking over to the food trucks at night for an amazing variety of food for dinner. Probably our absolute favorite thing was how conveniently close Foodland grocery store was. We would love to stay there again in the future! Mahalo!

We’ve been to Maui four times in the past year, and Peter’s place has been by far the best location and value of all our visits. It’s perfectly situated—just 5–15 minutes from what we feel are the best beaches and snorkeling spots on the island. The location easily beats Kaanapali and Napili. The home is well-kept, in a quiet neighborhood just off the main road, so you get peace and privacy without sacrificing convenience. Peter is a kind and respectful host—he gives you your space but is quick to respond if you need anything. I don’t usually leave long reviews, but after staying at so many Airbnbs, I can confidently say: if you’re heading to Maui, this is the place and location you want. 100% satisfied. Thank you, Peter.

First trip in Maui, this was a wonderful house to have for our family. It was spacious and clean, everything organized and easy enough to fit into for our week. Backyard was peaceful, and the kitchen was stocked well.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. Steve’s place is great and he is an excellent communicator and very invested in ensuring his guests have a great experience. We loved watching the sunset from the deck and the pool and game room were both so fun for our family. Lots of pantry staples on hand as well as some yummy snacks to greet us. The location is private and peaceful and we loved all the beautiful Hawaiian plants and geckos in the yard. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. We appreciated the private patio space. This home is in a convenient location for easy walking to restaurants and shops in central Paia. It was hard to leave!

Good location and Emma made great dinner recommendations in the area. There are also some nice restaurants and coffee shops walkable.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at Lisa's property! The condo was exactly as described - super clean, well equipped, and thoughtfuly designed. Every detail was taken care of, from the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen. It is all about location! 1 minute walk to the beach, which is not crowded. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable and memorable stay in Kihei. Thank you, Lisa, for making our visit so special!!

Very nice property, clean and very well located.

Very spacious apartment on a beautiful and peaceful property with amenities. Walking distance to the beach and short drive to other beaches and surf shops. The unit had everything we needed like a full kitchen and beach towels, as well as the washer and dryer which came in really handy. Yuana was super responsive and accommodated our requests and questions!

The OG of Airbnb, Derrick's place is unique, fun and close to everything you need for your trip to Maui. If you are looking for accommodations beyond the cookie cutter condo then this is it. Derrick was available in person and by text and was a very gracious host. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning to this little slice of paradise.

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

Lovely space to make a home base while seeing the islands. Conveniently located next to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants.

We had such great time during our short stay. The listing was just as described, with all the beach amenities provided, towels, chairs umbrella, etc. The location was right off the beach, yet very quiet during the night. Highly recommend staying here.

Karen is an excellent Host. The Apartment is perfect, modern, great location, well equipped, there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance but yet the Apartment is in a peaceful location. There is a beautiful beach literally minutes away. Can't wait to come back.

Our family of 5 had the most comfortable stay here! Really appreciated the beach chairs and toys available - since the beach was within walking distance, we were there any time we had a free moment! The location could not be beat. We were less than a 5 minute drive to our surf lessons, Foodland, and the Kihei food trucks. Kihei Caffe is right next door! The beds and pillows are super comfy and we had the best sleep we’ve had in an Airbnb. Felt right at home.

Marc‘s place was the best out of the three we rented on our Hawaiian Islands trip. The condo was fully stocked with kitchen appliances and had food items like spices, ketchup and oil. It also had a washer and dryer with soap powder. The condo was very modern and very tasteful decorated. This condo has everything you need inclusive beach chairs, and other beach equipment. It is very peaceful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. In addition the condo was very clean. Marc was very responsive and even offered us to stay until noon, but we left sooner. I highly recommend this condo when on Maui.

We were so happy with our stay. The location is great- right across the street from a nice beach area, close to fun restaurants and centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Maui. It was so nice having access to the beach chairs/umbrellas/beach toys and having everything we needed provided with the rental. Rebecca was great about giving us clear information and instructions, and responded quickly when we needed a response. We felt right at home and will definitely consider booking here again if we ever make it to Maui again!

We loved our stay here! Fabulous view of Kam 3 and the beautiful landscape, homey feeling condo with everything we needed, and very quiet surroundings. We had our 8 month old and eight year old kids and were pleasantly surprised with variety of kids stuff to use in the closet - lots of beach toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, high chair, pack and play, and baby bath. The condo was clean and Kris provided very clear instructions for all parts of our stay. We look forward to booking again in the future!

Quiet, clean development. Easy walk to several beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, etc. Nice pool. James was responsive and communicated proactively. Nice to have washer/dryer, dishwasher. Property was perfect for us. Great location for exploring Maui

Lori’s condo is in a fantastic location and had everything you could think of to enjoy our vacation! My family loved being minutes away from the beach, restaurants/food trucks, and local shops. We would absolutely stay here again when we return to Maui! Mahalo!
