Stayed here for the second time and everything was perfect again! So clean and well equipped plus it’s located in a great neighbourhood. I can highly recommend staying here when in Moshi!

We enjoyed our stay on the leafy foothills at Magdalena’s. Erick, our manager/ chef was always eager to make sure we were fed— he also helped us find the place for the first time, meeting us along the way. It’s a proper home home, and we felt as if we were guests at a friend’s, just missing the friend! Staff were on site to light a fire to roast marshmallows, there was a housekeeper who took care of chores. Nice to have a generator so we didn’t have to stop watching Netflix on TV 🤪. Really good. We would go back to explore the area some more.

We had a wonderful stay! The flat is beautiful, clean and cozy. The place is quiet and peaceful. Isaac is a real Superhost, he is always available, helping you with any requests and he will find the best solutions for you! He also offers more tourist services which makes your stay and experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. His team is there for your all the time (easy check-in, safe gate, requests/help, recommendations). You won‘t regret staying in Isaac‘s beautiful Dahari Home in lovely Moshi. Beautiful property neighboring a creek and forest with spacious & comfortable rooms. Evans was great to deal with & onsite staff were very friendly. The onsite staff didn’t speak english however this was easily overcome through the use of google translate and the very little bit of Swahili we have picked up. Evans also helped put us in contact with a local guide (Denis) for a day hike up the mountain. Denis was super helpful both in the tour and with communicating with the property staff for us. We arranged with the staff to cook us breakfast and dinner each day as the property is a bit of a walk from any shops. We opted for local meals to be prepared and they were all delicious. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience. I absolutely loved my time here, and it was way too short. Mama Lema met me at the house and I was running a bit late, but she offered to make me food even though the power had been out and the water wasn't working. I didn't mind as I was looking for an authentic experience and I received it. Dee was out of town but Mama Lema and Dee's daughters were an absolute delight. They made me feel right at home, and offered the bonus of taking me up to the Chemka Hot Springs for some swimming and rope swings, we had breakfast together before the daughters went to school, and I was served lunch of fish, veggies, and rice, and fresh watermelon and bananas. I absolutely loved the authentic stay and discussions. Do be aware that during that time we didn't have running water and the electricity went out for a bit, but that made it more fun. We caught water from the rain and used headlamps to see. The bunk room was very comfortable and the nets were a nice added bonus. And the new kittens (2 weeks old) were adorable. At the end, Mama Lema arranged transport to the airport with Benjamin, our tuk tuk driver, and that was extra fun (until we found out that Tuk Tuk's aren't allowed through the gate at the airport so we walked an extra few meters from the gate to the airport, and then back to the gate for Covid testing, then back to the airport. If you are looking for a fun and affordable stay, and to be well taken care of and a feeling of love, and not worry about all the modern-day amenities, this is the place for you!

A cozy place and elmisia was more than helpful. Everytime I needed something he was there to help me. I'll be back for sure.

Emmanuel was great. He responded to a very last minute request for booking. Within 10 minutes I was confirmed. The place is comfortable and cozy. The location is not far from town so it’s easy to get to the mountain and to the store.

It's a simple, comfortable place accurately described in the listing. The housekeeper and Jackson were both available and pleasant. Enjoyed the stay a lot.
