Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, ländlich. 200 Meter bis zum See in dem gebadet werden kann. Es lädt zu Rad- und Wandertouren ein. Mit seinen Seen in OH besteht auch die Möglichkeit Kanu/ Kajaks zu leihen. Lake Selenter with the best swimming quality borders directly on the village and the Baltic Sea can be reached quickly by car.

The Gatehouse (Torhaus) in Kletkamp was built in 1775 and, along with the many other gatehouses in Schleswig-Holstein, is one of the most beautiful in the country.
