Overlooking Galway Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way route - "TideAway" Cottage in the coastal village of New Quay, Burren, Co Clare offers a bright, airy & fully equipped self-catering 1 bedroom holiday apartment. This is the ideal place to relax from the hustle and bustle: take a stroll/swim in nearby beach- (5 mins walk away), hop across the road to dine/wine by the seashore in a renowned seafood restaurant or explore the surrounding unspoiled natural landscape of The Burren National Park.
“The Appartement is a very cosy stay for two people located at an awesome part of the Wild Atlantic Way - a walk of only a couple of minutes till Flaggy Shore. On the opposite site of the road is an great little fish restaurant, which we highly recommend. In the Appartement everything is really clean and organised. Everything you need is at hand. Roisin is a really lovely and kind person. Communication was easy and fast. She offers advice and help at all times if needed. You will love her! Some recommendations for your stay: - Buying Groceries: In Kinvara is a supermarket, but it is quite expensive and small. Better drive to the nearest Aldi, it takes a little bit of time. But you will save a lot of money and the the available range of products is a lot better. - Visit the Burren National Park and take a hike there - a lot of fun in an awesome area of nature. - Visit the Aran islands and combine it with an boat tour below the Cliffs of Moher - Visit the Cliffs of Moher and hike all the way till the end. Don’t just stay at the visitor centre, nature will be great and there will be a lot less people. But bring good boots, sneakers won’t be enough, cause it is very muddy and wet at some places. - You will need a car for almost everything there, but you can park it right in front of the accommodation. We are sure you will have an awesome time at Roisin’s place.”
Modern holiday home located on a peninsula with stunning views of the Burren and over Galway Bay inlet. Perfectly located for trips to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Galway with surroundings. Just 45 mins drive from Shannon Airport. We live 7 km from town centre so own transport highly recommended.
“The accommodation is fantastically beautiful, especially the view it has done to us. Breakfast or dinner with this beautiful view was my highlight every day. The decor is minimalist but stylish and with love in the smallest detail. Linda is super nice, friendly and there for you if you have a question. We hope to come back to this beautiful place!”

Easy access to all the Burren's attractions as well as Galway, Shannon and Limerick. Close to the sea and local beaches, Aillwee Caves, Cliffs of Moher, Burren Perfumery and Chocolatier. A great place to come back to after a day exploring all the area has to offer.
“An absolutely charming countryside cottage located in the heart of the beautiful Burren. Richard and Margaret really go above and beyond to provide everything you could hope for to have a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The e superb honey from the garden hives, delicious homemade granola, sourdough, fresh eggs and jam made a very welcome and hearty breakfast pack. The extras of having a great selection of DVDs, books, picnic set etc made us feel very at home, even after 2 days! I didn't want to leave, it was so lovely. A quiet, peaceful and picturesque setting with plenty to do and see nearby. We especially enjoyed visiting Flaggy Shore, Ballyvaughan and Poulnabrone Dolmen. I highly recommend and will recommend to friends and family hope we can get back in the future. Thank you again :)”
