Alternatively, a sofa bed can be used on the first floor. The house was completely renovated in 2019. An approx. 35 sqm terrace is included.

A gem in the Kehdinger Moor - personally decorated with love, in a brand new but old-style country house on 8,000 sqm property. Ten minutes by car to the Elbe beach, a quarter of an hour to the idyllic Stade, a good hour to Hamburg - with separate access, private balcony and seating in the garden. Most of the furniture comes from antique or junk, yet the apartment and kitchen are state-of-the-art equipped (smart TV, Wi-Fi, induction stove, dishwasher, etc.).

Horst's time out

Meine Auszeit Horst stands for real picture-book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the peace and quiet, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach and a delicious snack and matching refreshment in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. distance is the Horster train station. There is a parking lot and bicycle parking spaces.

An optimal place to relax. Krautsand is about 4 km away and has a beautiful sandy beach. Just outside the door you will find the Elberadweg where you can take great tours by bike or on foot. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach Hamburg in about 40 minutes. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.

Welcome to our small and lovingly furnished thatched cottage "Kleine Auszeit." Here between the moor and the Elbe, you can really enjoy your well-deserved vacation. The wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue invites you to linger. If you feel like taking a canoe tour, our canoe is at your disposal, because opposite our cottage there is a canal on which you can drive around a little between meadows and fields.

For excursions, the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea are just an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you.
