This is a private hanok in a quiet village. Recommended for those who want to spend a pleasant time with their family or partner, or for those who need to rest and heal in a cozy place. During the day, you can enjoy the scenery of the mountains and fields, and at night, you can see the sky full of twinkling stars. The basic number of guests that can stay is 2 (2 adults). You can book for a maximum of 2 people until February and a maximum of 4 people from March. Infants can stay with you at no extra charge. If you need separate bedding, please indicate it as an additional guest. We always provide freshly washed bedding. We provide organic cotton, flannel, and pure cotton products. You can cook at the accommodation. However, please refrain from cooking anything that emits a strong smell indoors. If you let us know in advance, you can have a barbecue outdoors. (There is no additional cost, but you must prepare the charcoal and grill yourself.) We provide high-quality coffee beans and premium boicha. You can enjoy drip coffee and refreshments in the garden that my mother takes care of.

A day like a gift (Welcoming you in the forest, Minjoo Mountain)

'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.
