The studio is attached to Historic Houvardas Tannery. The Tannery was built in 1870 and worked as a Tannery until 1997. This was the engine room until electricity came to karlovasi. It housed a diesel engine that moved all the tannery machines. In the second world war it was used as a prison for Italian soldiers. Now it is the house of University Student Antony Houvardas who will spent the Summer working in Germany. As seen in the pictures it stands in the middle of a garden.
“Very close to the harbor in Karlovassi in a quiet area. The house has all the amenities you need, it makes you feel comfortable and warm. The garden is perfect, and you have to spend some time there. Certainly home helps make your holidays more enjoyable. As far as the hosts are concerned, there are few words. Hospitable, friendly, gracious and extremely generous. Follow their advice, you will go to the best parts of the island. We hope to see you again soon!”
The house is located very centraly in Neo Karlovasi, a couple of minutes walk from the central square. It is in a very nice, picturesque, colourful and traditional neighborhood of the town. It is halfway uphill providing with stunning views over Karlovasi from the small yard that is just outside the house. The yard is accessible to the guests, with all the accessories (bbq, table, chairs etc). Enjoy magnificent sunsets from the yard or the front window of the house
“A really perfect stay! Very clean apartment, fully equipped, in a very good location and with a unique view that you can't find in Karlovasi! Ioanna was very helpful and flexible, the apartment was the cleanest I have found on airbnb of all the accommodations I have done in Greece and Europe. It was equipped with things you can't imagine that you finally need you buy them. The view is truly unique. I have stayed again in Karlovasi on the beach and I regret that I had not found Ioanna's accommodation. 5 Stars!”
A small house next to the turquoise sea of Velanidia near to Ormos Marathokampou, a village of Samos full of beauties. Relaxing place with various taverns and café bars both there and in nearby villages. Natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes.
“A little paradise with very dear hosts. We felt very welcome. Upon arrival, our fridge was already filled with fruits and vegetables from the garden. Giorges makes his own wine and we were allowed to enjoy it with him and his wife. The semi-detached house has everything you need. The village is within walking distance in 10 minutes and has some taverns, 2 bakeries and 1 supermarket. Great hiking area around the Kerkis. Swimming on the one hand of course on the private beach with 2 beach chairs and canoe, small tip Tripiti Beach (10 minutes by car, at the entrance of Kampos) Nice and quiet and not crowded.”
