You will find yourself cradled in the midst of Hills, Valleys and springs in a wooded environment The Farm House is an excellent blend of the modern and the traditional. It shares its neighbourhood with the likes of Rachol Seminary and other Ancient Churches. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families.Particularly those wishing for a long stay. All the villas are self catering.
“This place is a beautiful piece of nature with monkeys in nearby trees, butterflies and birds. It is meant for relaxation and the pool & outside kitchen are wonderful. It is off the beaten track which wasn’t an issue as Chris, the host, let us hire a scooter for 4 days at a very good rate. We soon worked out where the local beaches and places to eat were. Chris was so helpful booking us taxis and giving tips on where to eat. We would love to go back to his beautiful place.”

“Sonia Ma'am and her family are true treasures I found from Goa even much before reaching Goa. The very first things which was impressive is that I had sent them a query through Air BnB and I got prompt reply to it. I immediately reserved my place at their beautiful home. When I called up Sonia Ma'am her voice was so warm and welcoming that much before my start I got positive vibes. She guided me how to reach her place from railway station. She called me just to understand if my journey towards her place is comfortable. On reaching their place I was welcomed with such a cute yet broad smile that my journey tiredness all vanished immediately. Ma'am accompanied me to show me my room. This room is connected to the house but has an external entrance too, this helps to maintain individual privacy too. But not a single moment I wanted to maintain anything as privacy as I was given such a wonderful treatment that I completely felt at home. My room was so neat and tidy it had everything that I needed for my stay. On one of the table Sonia Ma'am had written letter for me welcoming to the room and kept few sweets alongside. Nothing can beat this gesture. Also she was kind enough to ask me what would I prefer tea or cold drink. I came downstairs to their main house for cup of tea. While walking to their place I found a well maintained garden with lovely colour flowers and plants of different types. Sonia Ma'am does gardening and takes personal care of the plants. Along with tea I was offered snacks.. which was mind-blowing and at the right time along with crunchy coconut bar as sweet. As I was relishing this refreshments, I happen to struck conversation with Roy sir (Sonia Ma'ams husband) only to later understand that he had come early from work to take me to nearby famous temples. My heart melted here on two things specifically 1) much before reaching Ponda I had just mentioned vaguely to Sonia Ma'am that I would like to visit Shanta Durga temple which was at close proximity from their place and this loving couple was more than happy to take me to this temple and sir specifically took out time from his office work schedule for taking me there. Not only he took me there he took me to another famous temple around and just for me to get glimpses of Ponda while coming back we took a different route 2) second reason why I am full of gratitude is inspite of the family following Christianity they went out of way to show me the temples around. Isn't it incredible. Not single moment I felt away from home coz of sir and mam and also their cutiepie granddaughter.. Mr. Roy is excellent in striking conversation and so is Sonia ma'am. I had requested them if I could have dinner with them paying additional charges for the same and I was asked what would I prefer eating. I told them anything which is cooked for family is good enough for me but Ma'am cooked such a scrumptious dinner with chicken , veggies, pulav etc.. honestly that evenings meals taste is still lingering on my taste buds. We all continued talking over dinner and for me it was understanding Goa closely from a Goans perspective. Next morning both of them missed the first mass at church for me as I had to leave early morning. They offered me morning tea along with something to eat. I will throughout my life cherish this fantastic memories of warm, welcoming and lovefilled stay. Thank you Sonia Ma'am and Roy Sir for everything. I would surely recommend people to stay with both of you. Calling you superhost will be like understating all that I have experienced during my stay. Cheers! Trupti”
