I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We recently had the privilege of staying at Green Hamlet, a mountain villa, nestled amidst the stunning peaks, Green Hamlet is exactly like shown in the photos. It is really beautiful with spacious rooms and washrooms, perfect for a family get together. The villa itself was beautifully designed with a blend of modern comforts and traditional architecture. The interiors were spacious, with large windows allowing us to fully appreciate the surrounding landscape. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff ensured that all our needs were met promptly. The highlight of our stay was the tranquility that enveloped the villa, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hospitality was top notch and the staffs were attentive. Even the food made was tasty. Prabha went above and beyond to assist with always helpful and enthusiastic, created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like family. What an amazing stay, we couldn’t have wished for a more secluded and private week. The food was amazing and we were completely taken care of. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious and we loved playing badminton out in the garden. We cannot thank you enough for such a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering of staying at La Ipsing.

Superhost! Our stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly wonderful! The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Nestled amidst nature, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the journey. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel right at home. We were lucky to visit during Diwali and got to learn so much about the local culture and traditions, which added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience! Karma our host is one of the most humble and wonderful person we’ve met. Our four-day stay was fantastic, with delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Aunt. The view from our room was mesmerizing, and the location had great connectivity with local taxis and cabs. Karma was incredibly helpful, assisting us with travel arrangements and guiding us throughout our stay.
