This is a historic place that was born out of a fire in 1906 and rebuilt in 1907 as the dry goods store. The open floor plan is 1400 feet of room to relax and there is even more to explore in this water front neighborhood. Boaters and fishermen love this place. Our cottage is a 2br upper waterfront unit ,originally set up for Musky fishing. Not suitable for swimming , free launch 3 minutes down the road. 7 - 10 mins to LSC from our 130 feet of dock with electricity . 5 mins to Lighthouse Cove by car or 7 - 10 mins by boat to Lake St Clair s popular Musky and Bass fishing area . 5 mins to 401 , or shopping, groceries, LCBO ,C Tire and more . 30 mins to Pelee Island Ferry or 40 mins to Point Pelee National Park , 25 mins to wine country .

You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.
