Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lambton Shores

This home was one of the BEST Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! Extremely clean, sooo comfortable, very spacious, and just perfect! Doreen is an AMAZING host! She was able to accommodate our early check in, and with the unexpected snow, they shoveled the driveway and walk way for us! Communication was great, the home was huge and beautiful. I cant say enough, that this home was super CLEAN! Right on the lake with amazing views! The 4 full bathrooms made this home perfect for our group of 5 adults. We want to stay here every time we are in michigan. You wont regret renting this home!! Oh and the fireplace made the home nice and cozy!!

Had a great time fishing Lake St Clair with friends. House was as described and host was very accommodating. We had room to park and charge our bass boat which was very helpful.

Trudy was a great hostel and responsive whenever i messaged her. The place was beautiful..nice and clean snd great location. My family and i had a great time!

We rode our motorcycles from Ottawa to David's Brights Grove cottage and when we arrived, he had a nice cold one in the fridge for our arrival and fresh farm eggs (we didn't cook unfortunately). The cottage is sooo close to a beautiful blue water beach yet is far enough away, tucked in to the cutest and quietest little neighborhood you've ever seen. The cottage has a lovely, very private patio, all surrounded by plants and flowers and the trees keep it all wonderfully shaded. Also a nice outdoor fireplace and one indoors too. David stopped by on Sunday morning and told us to take our time checking out, chatted about the area with my partner (who grew up in that area 50/60 years ago), and took some pics of our motorcycles. What a fantastic person, we didn't meet Juli but hopefully in the future. Thank you David and Juli. We'll be spreading the word through the biker community to definitely check you out. Cheers. The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

I stayed at Katherine’s place with my boyfriend for a night and it’s so charming!! We had the best time, I’m only hoping to be able to go back sometime soon. The entire place is very moody. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

very quick to respond. They remembered a promised DVD player was not there, offered to bring one the next day, but ordered one and had it delivered by 0800. Very welcoming home for a winter getaway of 4 friends. seating area nice for movie and Lions game watching. Plenty of VERY HOT water, for 4 showers! Bedrooms all upstairs as is the main bath. canal out the backside. ONLY NEGATIVE is the parking across the road. (the road is JUST beyond the front door) unloading and loading a little challenge, but doable. Definitely a comfortable home and great stay for a friend getaway.

We celebrated two 30th birthdays with a weekend here and it was wonderful! The house is gorgeous with everything you could need. The hot tub was a lovely bonus! Jennifer was very proactive and easily accommodated my last minute booking. She even had flowers waiting for us to wish a happy birthday! Would highly recommend and stay again :)

We just left this wonderful cottage and are planning our return already! Sylvia is the absolute best host! Sylvia greeted us upon our arrival to show us around her lovely and extremely clean cottage. She is so sweet and welcoming, we instantly felt right at home. She has truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, even leaving little treats and wine for us. You can tell she truly enjoys sharing her cottage with guests and wants to make sure you enjoy every minute of being there! There are so many things to do in this quant little village and she makes sure you know all about them. The beach & outdoor areas are a dream and immediately puts you in vacation mode! I could go on and on about this little gem of a cottage & Sylvia …..but it comes down to, if you want to stay in an adorable little cottage, with the most comfortable amenities, best host, beautiful view and make the best memories, do not hesitate booking this cottage you will not regret it!

Wow!! This is a beautiful place…exactly as you see in the pictures. The outdoor shower was a nice feature. The outdoor space is comfortable and spacious. The fire pit was set up for us, all we had to do was light it. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There are a number of steps to the beach but worth the walk as nothing beats a Lake Huron sunset. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board on the calm water. The beach area is very private , only a few others around. We loved this place and will be returning next year!!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, hot tub helps wind down and the view of the lake at sundown was priceless. David’s place was extremely clean and had all the useful kitchen utensils we needed. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer. Family time at this stay was the best! David was very responsive and friendly. Can wait to return next year!

The place is even more beautiful than the photos! Alexis’s place was spotless, had everything you would need, the beds were extremely comfortable, lots of space, peaceful, and the beach and view was gorgeous. The beach is sandy- not rocky and very slowly gets deeper but the water is pretty shallow (waist height) so great for kids or people looking to just cool off. We even found lots of sea glass for art! The stairs were easy to go up and down, but the golf cart was a great option if you didn’t want to or were unable to use the stairs. Just a short drive from grand bend, but Alexis gave many local activities and recommendations. I highly recommend bringing bug repellents. Alexis was very quick to respond, organized, and the best host I’ve communicated with on Airbnb. We would all love to come back!

Moe and the Great Lakes Resort was great. We picked a pretty chilly day, but it was our anniversary so we didn't really mind. There was still plenty to enjoy. The beach and patio fireplace area had plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful lake view. And the arcade room was awesome. Darts, pool table, and lots of video games to enjoy. I was extra excited about the video games because they were all the games I grew up playing and loved. Check in and check out was super easy and he even let us hang out before and after to continue to enjoy everything on the property. We would definitely stay here again and possibly bring the kids next time. Maybe.

This was my first time staying at Great Lakes and I will 100% be back! I was looking for a place to accommodate 20-30 guests for my fiance's surprise birthday sleepover and stumbled across this listing. It seemed like it would be perfect for my plans but I of course had a ton of questions. Moe responded right away and made recommendations on what would work best for my group. We ended up going with the Big House and the Beach house, which had more than enough space for 20 guests to park and sleep and not feel too crowded. Both houses were in pristine condition and looked even better than what was advertised in the listing! My group enjoyed the game room, beach area, fire pit, and grills throughout the property. There are tons of paddle boards and kayaks with life jackets provided - which was where we spent a majority of our time. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We will 100% be booking with Moe again. He was right there with us whenever we needed him and was so friendly! His dog Rocco was also a hoot! The place was spotless, there were fire pits EVERYWHERE! grills, all of the beach equipment you could ask for, crystal clear night sky, it was perfect! Definitely coming back later in the summer!!!

Susan was a great, friendly and accommodating host. We felt right at home during our stay. The place was clean and the amenities were great. Perfect place for a “glamping” experience away from the city!
