This place was perfect and I would definitely stay here again! Very close to everything & the main surf break. It is absolutely gorgeous and beds are very comfortable.

Truly cannot overstate how great the place was. Pool was perfect. Lots of spots to lounge. Beds were comfortable. AC worked great. Sergio the on site manager is super nice and helpful. Heaven!

Cozy, private apartment close to everything. I had great sleeps in the bed, used the stove, walked everywhere, and enjoyed coming back to my place to hang out. A/C worked great. But the best part about staying here was meeting my host Hugo. He is an amazing guide, I felt really safe with him and he went out of his way to make me feel at home on the beach and in the waves. Thank you for everything Platano!

El lugar es tal cual en las fotos, limpio, ordenado, los electrodomésticos son nuevos, bien equipado, todo funciona perfecto, tienen todo para cocinar, estamos encantados con mi familia. Los anfitriones siempre estuvieron en contacto, amables y contestaban rápido y tiene agua caliente, eso para mí fue excelente.

Highly recommend! For those who want perfect surfing accommodations and nearby yoga, look no further. Angel has built the ideal place for you. These units are recently finished (2 mths ago) in a unique eco-style design; they are spacious and all look over common courtyard with a pool. The location to surf could not be more convenient as it is across the street; as well as great surfboard rental if you don’t travel with boards. This is part of a 6 unit complex with each unit having similar design layout. Angel lives in one of them with his two dogs (who are awesome) and is a great host; also on property are Jose-Luis and Gloria (caretakers) and their charming 5 year old, Mateo. The place feels very safe. Thank you, Angel…we hope to see you again soon.

We chose this place for close proximity to the surf spot and a kitchen. It was perfect. We rented a car see if we eant to explore other surf breaks but we ended up surfing right in front mostly. We did a big grocery shoping on way in near the airport and it was very helpful. There are small ones nearby but not as well stocked as the big one. Make sure get some essentials like olive oil, coffee, condiments, hot sauce, shampoo, soaps... And a bug spray! I was covered with itchy bites all over but you cant see the bugs.

Such a beautiful and relaxing few days staying in la saladita. Every manner of longboard to pick from, great hospitality, and literal steps from the waves. We had an amazing time and will certainly be staying with Joana again next time we have a chance!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The space was clean and looked just like the pictures. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be booking again! (:
