The "Kingfisher" is the perfect place from which to discover the beauty of the Loire Valley. The Loire flows directly by the foot of this two hundred year old house, which is located in the picturesque village of Chênehutte. After a peaceful night’s rest you can go for a bike ride in the countryside, along the Loire, in the forest or simply rest under a parasol while listening to the river and observing its beautiful flora and fauna. Perhaps, if you are lucky, you might even see a kingfisher!

You will stay in a real 17th century dovecote, 75 m², renovated to modern tastes. Cécile and Yannick will welcome you in a quiet and peaceful environment in the heart of the Saumurois vineyards between Brézé and Fontevraud-l'Abbaye. Many tours, activities and hikes are possible in the surrounding area. Ideally located with magnificent views of the Loire from the balcony, the apartment is close to the restaurants and bars of Place Saint Pierre as well as its Saturday morning market and the "La Loire à Vélo" route. On the port or starboard side, you will enjoy exceptional views of the Loire and the Thoureil, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The boat is eco-friendly: solar panels, filtered and sterilized river water, wood stove, dry toilet... You will experience energy autonomy in an idyllic setting. Experiencing the river is an art!

Charming house, a balcony over the Loire.

A true garden on the river, our house offers breathtaking views of the Loire and its beaches. It has a very large central room with open kitchen and fireplace and two bedrooms. In summer only (June, July, August, September) we offer an extra room with 4 single beds in the garden level of the house (independent access, not suitable for children under 8 years old). The house is a peaceful, friendly and comfortable place to stay.

L'Ecole Buissonnière (pool, air conditioning, parking)

In an old school, we installed a loft in the middle of Saumur. Overlooking a wooded courtyard, you can enjoy 3 bedrooms (2 adult bedrooms and 1 bedroom for 4 children), a large living room and a bathroom. You will also have access to an adjoining classroom in which we have created a 3 m x 3 m indoor pool, heated with counter-current swimming. You'll have the option to park 2 vehicles in the yard.
