Vacation rentals with a firepit in Leamington

Our stay at Vivian's beautiful lake house was a long series of pleasant surprises. Where most airbnb's have the bare minimum of cooking supplies, her kitchen was fully stocked, with every appliance and spice you'd need for home cooking right at hand. The beds were comfortable, the sheets spotless, the bathrooms were pristine, and the whole house had a clean and welcoming feel that only comes from dedicated work. The lake equipment was extensive, and allowed us to make many treasured memories out on the water. And to top it all off, she left a platter of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter as a welcoming gift. We would happily stay here again, I can't emphasize enough how well kept this house is.

Great place to stay. Very spacious. The location is alittle run down and honestly sketchy. But after meeting some in the neighbors who were very friendly and helpful it calmed the nerves of our party. Would stay here again.

Two colleagues and I enjoyed our stay (nine nights) very much. The house was as described, modern furniture, very bright, clean & well equipped. We even had a nice welcome basket with tasty nibbles and wine and a personal welcome card :-). The location is very good, easy (and safe) to walk to downtown restaurants. The Supermarket around the corner was very convenient, not to forget "Crispellys" bakery :-) As it has been a business stay, we were happy with the individual work space/table in each bedroom. Wifi was very good. Our host Martine was always very friendly & helpful, shared many information and reacted very quickly. While we had some issues with the heating in parts of the house, she arranged immediately for a technician to come, even on Sunday. Shame we could not use the nice and inviting back yard due to the winter/cold, this would have been perfect (so summer is a much better time to enjoy everything in & around the house). We would definitely stay there again.

The lake view is amazing in person. Hot tub in excellent condition and all the jets work optimally! Virginia was a great host and was very responsive. The decor is tasteful and the home is well equipped. The outdoor space is filled with small details that make this home especially beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

Great experience! Cute and cozy little spot but close to so many things in Royal Oak. House was clean, local recommendations were helpful, and very easy check in and check out process. We would stay here again!

I visited Nik's place with my friends and their families and we had a great time there. The property was very well maintained and there were lots of activities to do indoor and outdoor! The swimming pool was unfortunately not usable during my visit! Hopefully that gets fixed the next time!!

The place was extremely beautiful and clean. The location is soothing on the eyes. Chris was very accommodating and generous.

We visited Point Peele National Park and stayed at Janet's place for 3 nights. The location is super convenient - only 20 minutes from the park (and also 5 minutes from Hillman Marsh!). The place is very spacious and the surrounding is peaceful and serene.

Our 2-nights stay was amazing! Everything was immaculate when we arrived. So many little delightful gestures and lovely surprises!! Like freshly baked cookies, drinks, snacks and a variety of hot sauces - Allison and Anthony thought of everything possible to make their guest feel happy and comfortable. The deck looking out into the backyard garden was beautiful also. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay ♥️!! Thank you Allison and Anthony for your warm hospitality!!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Had a great stay, the place was cozy, very clean and exactly as described. The kitchen had everything I needed. It was quiet, but also close to some great restaurants and supermarkets. Check-in was very easy. Couch and bed were both very comfortable! I would definitely stay there again.

My sister and I love this place. Can’t beat the location and it’s always clean! Traci is very good to work with! Can’t wait for our next visit!!!

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

Pulling up my husband was a little like ummm… because the house is in an area where I would assume revitalization is happening. You can tell that they are starting to fix up the neighborhood house by house. We had absolutely no problems and felt safe n comfortable during our stay. We LOVED the boathouse and how it was decorated. You are literally the only boathouse in the canal and it was so cool to just sit out on the deck. We will for sure be going back during warmer weather to be able to experience taking the kayaks out, sitting by the fire and some more relaxing.

I wanted to get away for my birthday and go hiking and this was the perfect spot! Selena was an excellent host and a sweet person. We made a day before reservation and she set everything up in time for our arrival. We bought one of her packages and she set up the flowers and wine beautifully! It is a bit chilly if the temperatures outside are under 10 but just dress for the weather as you should for camping! Bed was clean and comfy and the fairy lights are SO cute. View of the lake was great and during the rain storm it looked incredible. Having a fire at night was peaceful and she provides as much as you need to make one and enjoy one. We saw some wildlife and heard an owl hanging out! We had a lovely time.

The place was clean and organized. Everything was easy to find and identify from wifi passwords to instructions to follow. Would definitely come back here again in the summer hopefully

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

We booked Michael’s cabin on Lake Erie last minute. Spontaneity is the spice of life right? As we have already had 2 international trips with and without with kiddos this year, Michigan was the spot for our quick, 11 year anniversary getaway. Most of our cabin stays are usually at the Red River Gorge but this one was unique and couldn’t resist. The layout of the cabin was perfect for us and can see the kiddos come if back with us in the future. Our favorite part of course was the private dock. We spent countless hours by the lake from the moment we arrived to even that last minute deep breathe under the sun before our departure. Michael was above par and everything you want a host to be in new area. Michael and his cabin are a perfect representation of Luna Pier and for that, we will be back. And yes, the welcoming bottle of Sunset Blush didn’t make it long and that bowl of candy was empty the first night. Cheers to Michael for thinking of EVERYTHING even local coupons!
