A cosy but bright studio/ annex with a modern en suite. A quiet area with woods to the back leading up to playing fields and a park to the front. Your own entrance to your private room. A keysafe so you can arrive at your own convenience. You have access to the patio and front garden . ( we tend to use the back garden) Though we may pass by and say hello on our way through.
“Spotless, well located with easy access and parking. Particularly liked our own front (patio) door with outside space al. The room was cosy and extremely comfortable with all the necessary facilities. Perfect for us. We will definatly be back. 👍👍👍”
Our charming shepherd hut provides cosy accommodation for two with stunning views to the countryside nestled in its own meadow on our small farm. Although our beautiful hut is hidden away in a peaceful quiet location, there’s something for everyone nearby. Located in the heart of the South Hams countryside near the town of Modbury there are spectacular views, walks and scenery all year round.
“Had a lovely mini break here with my partner and my little dog. Jan was very helpful through the booking process as I had a few hiccups with the air bnb app. Her directions were spot on and she was very welcoming when we arrived and left us to our own devices for the duration of the visit. She had very kindly provided a water bowl, dog towel and some dog treats for my four legged friend which I thought was a lovely touch. The shepherds hut itself was very secluded and far from the main house, situated in a field that we had all to ourselves, which was lovely for my dog to play with toys when we weren't out exploring. And even though it was pretty cold outside, the woodburner made the place lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet little getaway and I would definitely visit again!”
Only 2 miles from Dartmoor National Park, the Two Moors Way and the SW Coastal Path. With a number of surfing beaches; Burgh Island; Salcombe estury and the the picturesque towns of Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge just a short drive away; plus easy access from the A38; the cottage is ideal for discovering South Devon and the historic port of Plymouth. With a king size four poster in the main bedroom and a wood burner in the lounge, our 17th Century cottage is perfect for a romantic break.
“This is a very stylised, ultra clean small house; full of thoughtful , helpful touches. Upstairs the bedrooms are amply proportioned with very comfortable, snuggly beds; and the shower is excellent. Downstairs the lounge is comfortably spacious, with good WiFi, whilst the kitchen, although compact, has all the required utilities with many tasteful touches. The close proximity to the road was not an issue and parking, despite roadworks during our visit, was overcome by using the pub car park. Overall good value for money. Xandra communicated very rapidly to any requests. A little gem of a house.”
