RUGGÅRD - Farm-holiday

Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Come and experience the rural idyll and tranquility and greet the farm's animals.

Lovely LITTLE apartment of 45 m2 is located in a quiet neighborhood 10min walk from the city center. A small free “Welcome goodie bag” is ready for you. The apartment has a SMALL bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room (140x200 cm) toilet/bath, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer, oven and front yard. Most suitable for 2 people, (sleeps 4) if there are children, see in the photos if it is something you can see yourselves in, as it is decorated according to size and does not have blackout curtains in the living room by the sofa bed.

Relax in this unique and tranquil home overlooking Vejle Fjord, fields and forests. The house has a living room with kitchen, dining area and sofa area, toilet with shower and upstairs with bedroom. There are two elevation beds (double bed) as well as a single bed. Please note that the stairs to the 1st floor are a little steep and there is not so much space around the double bed. Outside, there are two terraces, both with views. There is a wood-burning stove with freely available firewood. Both bed linen and towels are included.

Faurskov Mølle - Private apartment

Faurskov Mølle is located in the beautiful Brende Aadal - one of the most scenic areas on Funen. The area invites you to hike in forests and meadows. Likewise, the Funen fishing waters are within a short driving distance and Barløse Golf for a round, can be reached possibly by bike. Faurskov Mill is an old watermill with one of Denmark's largest mill wheels, diameter (6.40 m). There was originally a grain mill, which was later changed to a wool spinning mill. The mill has not been running since the 1920s.

Here you can enjoy peace and quiet in a small cozy cottage near the forest and beach. There are great opportunities to swim at the beach or take a walk in the nearby forest. You can also go to the scenic and historic Skamlingsbanken to enjoy the view or visit the small fine experience center, which describes the historical events in the area. The house is functional and cozy with a centrally located wood stove inside and a nice private garden outside. The living room overlooks the ocean.
