This place is awesome. Thanks to Danny and his crew for maintaining this historic place and making it available to backpackers. We will absolutely come back.

Spent a long weekend with my family -- the place it so roomy and comfortable! Convenient location within 10-15 minutes of places to meet all of our needs, i.e. grocery, restaurants, convenience store only 5 minutes away. Stocked with most everything you would need in the kitchen which was great because we ate most dinners there. The view from the pool of the Ohio River is beautiful and the sunsets were gorgeous! Amy and John were so accommodating, responsive and nice. This is a place that we will definitely rent again and recommend to all our friends!

Most of my family are from down south on the coast and others live in West Virginia and Kentucky So we were all able to get together and enjoy our Christmas. Thank you guys so much. The place was beautiful. The caves were fantastic. The view was great. We loved it thank you. We’ll definitely be back✝️🙏☮️

Truly a wonderfully peaceful rural stay. I’m grateful I got to be here during a snow and enjoy the landscape and natural surroundings. The perfect place for a weekend of solitude and tranquility

Large place! Plenty room and well stocked. The deck on the back is huge, overlooks the Ohio River. Even a covered outdoor dining area. Roxie was great! Will be staying here again next time we are in the area.

We had a great weekend at Mamaw's house and will be back. The host was very responsive and friendly with my questions. Will absolutely stay again!! Such a quiet, relaxing location while still being close to stores when we needed anything.

Nothing but great things to say for this place. The host was very responsive and asked more than once if I needed anything and gave me a heads up on what to do if it snowed due to the cabin being up on a hill I felt at home here it was very quite and peaceful highly recommend to anyone
