Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

What a great place to spend Christmas in Connecticut. We felt right at home and cooked most of our meals at the house. The third floor room was the best for watching sunsets. Communication was great, even with a question on Christmas Eve! Would stay again!

We loved Leslie's place and would book here again in a heartbeat - especially in beach season (we were there mid-April). We opted for Leslie's because of its great location over a much larger home with more amenities in the same price range - we were not disappointed! We have two teenage boys and we felt comfortable letting them explore the neighborhood on their own while we squeezed in a few hours of work. Walk or bike to beach, park, basketball courts, restaurants/bars, laundry and more. Encountered many friendly neighbors on our walks. Average 15 min drive to explore lots in West Haven/New Haven. The deck is almost as large as the house with a grill and great furniture. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog - even she felt right at home immediately! The inside is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I loved having my coffee/beer/ cocktail on the deck in view of Long Island Sound with my dog sunning herself by my feet! I highly recommend for couples or families of all ages!

Our Spring Break stay at the Pudding Pad was great. I was there solo with an 8 year old and our dog, and we loved the huge yard that sloped down to the lake, the movie room, and the proximity to Fahnestock State Park (literally 8 minutes away). Basquali and Michelle have decorated the cozy space with a lot of fun details and vintage furniture - a favorite moment was our first day when the afternoon sunshine came in at just the right angle to hit a disco ball flower pot. It added a lot of surprise and delight. While we weren't brave enough to jump in the lake in April, we'd love to return in the warmer months to take advantage of the canoes and floats.

The option wasn’t there but the photos don’t truly show how amazing the views are. Better than photos! Though our stay here was short and sweet we would highly recommend to family and friends. Each room has a beautiful view of the water giving way to a peaceful and serene stay. We loved that the kitchen and eating space was open to the living space. The tv’s were great and easy to log in and stream the Masters. The decor and styling was cohesive, stylish, and comfortable. Katherine was a great communicator and was very responsive when we had to sadly cut our trip short. Book this place!

Christa’s house was even better than the photos. It was spotless and the decor was lovely - beachy, inspirational, fun ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all who visited while we were there really loved the house. Kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy. Lots of room for family to visit in the living room and the “playroom.” My granddaughter loved the toys and the back yard was great. The two porches were also enjoyed by all - it’s worth waking for the sunrise from the top deck. Christa was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. We’ll be back!

The house had stunning views from every room on all floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large family. The owner’s responses to questions about the property were prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub since it was too early in the season for the swimming pool. My family agreed we would rent again if a reunion is planned.

The home was spotless and the view was even better than the photos. The living room has tons of windows and great fireplace.

I enjoyed myself throughly!! My sisters and I had such an amazing time!! We weren’t ready to leave. My sister enjoyed her birthday getaway so much!! She fell in love with the home and the pool!! The showers felt tropical.

Sweet Dotties Cottage was better than expected. It was right on the water and even had a dock for our boat. It was very clean and exactly as described. The screened in porch was great at night. I highly recommend and will be visiting this property again.

What a gem! This house is situated right in front of the ocean, less than a minute walk, with wonderful views from the sunroom. Their backyard is huge with lots of space to run around and enjoy. I’m picky about finding clean Airbnbs and this place did not disappoint! It was a major plus that they also provide soooo many towels. I find this to be an issue at most places but ample amounts of towels were provided, which was great. Their kitchen is well-stocked and the house itself is very comfortable. We slept so well in the beds, each so soft and relaxing to lay on. I loved that a TV was provided for each room. We had minor hiccups but Edward was so quick to resolve the issues for us. We loved our stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!

We spent Thanksgiving in the beautiful Joshua cottage. This was one of the best Airb&b stays we have ever had. The hosts were wonderful- making sure we had everything we needed. The spot directly on the water is magical.

Obsessed! if a house could be a soul mate I met mine! I don't say that lightly, I am everything real estate, holding, buying, selling, air bnbs, construction, sales and staging.......and this house could not have been any better. Cherishing the old, while putting new where needed. Let's you feel like you are at the lake without one thing on the to do list. Trees and water, seclusion without being alone. Everything in a logical, well thought out position. The experience from tennis to childlike wondering in the woods, with the most accommodating host that didn't overly reach out. I will be back for all of my peaceful getaways with my daughter. So very grateful for what this host offered us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Our pets loved taking long naps by the fireplace. - clean place - responsive host - private and peaceful

What we needed was really just a "heads in the bed" type situation as we had plans that were to keep us away from the house most of the day but really the place was very homey and lovely to come back to. Everything was just as described. The hosts were flexible and offered early check-in/late check-out unprompted which was nice to have some time to relax the day we checked out. Overall it was a great stay!
