Den Bosch/Vught- Het Atelier, something special

On the Bosscheweg, right across from Hotel v.d Valk, is our house surrounded by trees and water features. In the garden, the work studio of the former resident has been transformed into a lovely guest house. Architecture according to the Bosscheschool. Maasbommel is located in the beautiful rural Land van Maas en Waal in recreation area De Gouden Ham, on the Maas. Here you can bike, hike, swim, rent a boat, eat out, bowl, water sports, etc. The former cowshed is now a cozy space with a spacious bedroom, walk-in shower, sitting area, TV, fully equipped kitchen. Our apartment has a wonderful view of the large garden. Next to the private entrance is a garden table with chairs to enjoy the sun.

Rural location, peace, space and alpacas

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.

The school on the Maas

Cozy apartment with breathtaking views of the Meuse, in a historic building from 1835. There used to be a school in here, now you stay in a cozy house where you can stare out the window at the ever-changing view. You can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Or swimming, boating or visiting old towns. There is a storage room for bicycles. Street parking is free.

From the farm, you can cycle and walk directly onto the dike, where you can enjoy the nature along the Maas (for example, towards Ravenstein) or the nearby nature reserve De Hemelrijkse Waard.
