Sant'Eustachio

People stop in Sant’Eustachio for one of Rome's finest cups of espresso at its centuries-old café.

Slight and skinny, Sant’Eustachio links several points in the old city. As a connecting corridor, it struggles to find an identity of its own and is often subsumed into a nearby district. Everybody in Sant'Eustachio seems to be in transit, whether it’s well-turned-out business moguls rushing to their morning meetings, tourists wandering between Roman ruins, or espresso connoisseurs going back for their second cup.

The spindly nature of Sant'Eustatchio's streets makes it easy to get lost amid the curves of its cobblestones. We recommend that you let yourself get lost.
