Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lumpkin County

We loved this little cabin! It was perfect for my husband, 3 kids & I! When we arrived Friday, the place was covered in snow. It was a winter wonderland, so beautiful! Loved all the heaters and fireplaces inside, and especially loved the gas firepit on the back porch. The hot tub was a big hit, was the first time I’ve ever been in a hot tub and been surrounded by snow.

The two cottages were perfect for our needs! Beautiful wooded area, updated decor and amenities! The two cottages are just aacross the road from each other. Ideal for our extended family!! Alison was very responsive and accommodating-absolutely loved our experience!!

This place was wonderful. My husband and I went for a getaway. It was great for the 2 of us but would have been awesome for our kids as well. There were a lot of thoughtful extras. Bottled water in the refrigerator, snacks, chocolate, coffee, hot chocolate, s'more pokers, quality shampoor/conditionert/soaps, make up remover, plenty of towels and blankets. The surroundings were so tranquil and relaxing. We use Air BnB regularly and this one was really remarkable. We could have found things to do in the area but we were really just happy hanging out at the house.

This is our second time visiting this home. It is beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed a wedding rehearsal dinner hosting friends/family and it served as a prep area for our beautiful bride and her bridesmaids before the wedding just down the road. We enjoyed the large open space and the firepit! Only remotely negative thing I would say was the "curious" neighbor across the road up on the hill could benefit from a new hobby. Unfortunately her inquisitivness could easily be interpreted as Karen behavior, especially being directed towards 13 year olds unloading cars for their parents. Her, nor her behavior kept us from enjoying our joyful weekend surrounded by our family and friends though. I would definitely recommend this home, and I would definitely stay here again. Sallie was willing to accommodate us when we shared our circumstances. So Thankful! She responded in a timely manner to some specific questions. She had great and varied literature to read- nice getaway when you want a quiet retreat. The sweet little town is home to Northern Georgia University with fun little shops.

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet mountain retreat. The back porch is the best perch for a little quiet time to unplug. All of the basics were there for a family to feel right at home. The shallow rippling river made a little “ride” for the kids to float down until well after the sun went down. Coopers Creek store is 5-10 min away if you run out of s’mores, eggs or firewood. The locals are super friendly and hosts were superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

I really enjoyed this cabin as it looked and felt brand new. It is definitely easier to use the fire station as the address for GPS. Indoors wise the stove was my favorite part for indoor fires. It made the cabin very cozy with the provided firewood. Outdoors I’d have to say it’s between the porch or waterfall. You can hear the waterfall from the cabin and it was definitely flowing after recent rains. I really liked the location as you are only a few minutes from Cleveland and 25mins from Dahlonega. Far enough away to get away from town and have some peace and quiet, but not too far to be inconvenient when you want to go out to eat.

Brian’s place was the perfect getaway! It’s homey and inviting, with tasteful decor that reflects the charm and character of the Dahlonega area. Every detail—from the cozy furnishings to the touches of local flair—made it feel like a true mountain retreat. The location was ideal for exploring downtown and nearby hiking trails. Brian was a thoughtful and responsive host. Highly recommend if you're looking for comfort with a touch of authentic North Georgia style!

We had everything we needed for a three day stay while moving our daughter out of her sorority at Brenau! It was fine with Nishat that I used the washer/dryer for some throw rugs and towels of our daughter's which needed laundering before taking to our storage unit, and she even offered to let us double up using her washer, which wasn't necessary, but very thoughtful. She also was willing to have the unit ready early when I messaged her I wasn't feeling well, also ultimately not needed, but again, very thoughtful. Well stocked! We enjoyed the living room with many screened windows overlooking a beautiful and private back yard (you can turn off the air exchange to open the windows for fresh air without running the heat or ac), and we enjoyed the covered porch for morning coffee and pizza for dinner. The landscaping and neighborhood is upscale and gorgeous, but the unit is a bit dated. If you are a larger, plus size or very tall person, the bathroom and shower would be quite snug.

Our stay here was fabulous and felt right at home. This home is very cozy with beautiful decor and obviously well thought out on everything. We were so close to downtown and were able to walk mostly during our time here. We will certainly plan to return and recommend this to our friends that need a place for two.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a peaceful lakeside retreat. Having direct access to the lake was a highlight, and the host was friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

Mike and Karen were gracious hosts! Their Airbnb was cute and had a beautiful front lawn. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in the area!

Darlene’s place was the perfect getaway for me and my girlfriend. Such a beautiful piece of land with cute, friendly animals. Getting to explore the land, the barn, etc. was an amazing gesture by the kind host. Thank you so much Ms. Darlene! 10/10 would recommend.

This place was the calm and relaxing we needed! It was gorgeous, cozy and comfortable! There was tons to do locally and lots of outdoor activities. The best part was the hot tub after a day of hiking! 10/10 Will be back on our next trip. Host Scott was responsive and attentive.

This is a great space! The cabin is very clean and comfortable. My son and I had a very pleasant stay! Definitely heed the warning about the road leading directly to the cabin, it is one lane, not paved and the ruts are pretty deep with roots and rocks sticking out. If you have a low profile vehicle, expect some scrapes. I was able to navigate it fairly easily and didn’t experience any issues. Very much appreciated the creamer for the coffee, it was a pleasant surprise to find! The hosts provide a lot of information and are responsive if questions arise. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, cabin stay in the woods.

Great cabin 15 minutes from Dahlonega! Very peaceful and quiet, can hear a stream running on the property. Would definitely stay again!

We celebrated our Anniversary week at this beautiful and unique glass cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing and we were not disappointed. Everything was just like the pictures you see and the descriptions you read. The hosts are so thoughtful, responsive and accommodating. They supply everything you need for a memorable time away from the business of life. It is a great place to rest and relax while surrounded by the beauty of nature and the cabin itself. We hope to come back again in the future. It was an amazing experience!

We enjoyed our stay at this charming Airbnb cabin nestled in the woods near the North Georgia wineries. It was an absolute dream. The chic modern decor was a delightful surprise, blending sleek, contemporary elements with the cabin's rustic charm. Large windows offered stunning forest views, while the stylish furniture and carefully curated accents created a welcoming, cozy haven. The space was perfect for unwinding after a day of wine tasting, offering comfort and serenity. Whether you’re here to relax or explore the local wineries, this cabin is the perfect retreat!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a girl weekend in the Gold Mine Cabin and it was perfect. The cabin was well stocked with nessesities and was just exactly as expected from the description and photos. The location was close to a wonderful winery and downtown but also seperate enough to enjoy some peace. Crystal was full of recommendations and very responsive! We had a great stay!

Arthur was responsive and kind. The cabin was beautiful and beds were super comfy! House had nice amenities and the outdoor space with the hot tub were great. The walk to the river was beautiful, but steep. We only walked down to the river once, as you can see it great and hear it from the back porch. Lots to do within a short driving distance. The downtown area was adorable with lots of activity and shops!

house was very clean, location was nice and peaceful. paved driveway is a plus for anyone coming to the mountains with performance cars. would definitely stay again.
