Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lyon County

This was perfect for my family to celebrate Christmas. It’s spacious and homey and so clean. Chris, the host provided the very best care before, during and after our stay. What a blessing for our community. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Great location within walking distance to campus, restaurants, and even a grocery store and gym. Quiet downtown location. Coffee and bottled watered available for guests. Couch and high top table/chairs for seating and comfortable bed. Lots of well-placed outlets and usb charging outlets in the right places. Everything we needed for a weekend stay.

My family stayed at Alex’s place in Emporia when we came to the area to celebrate Easter. We were very happy with the house and the communication of the host. When we added another guest…no problem. When we had checked out and realized later we had forgotten something…no problem. Thanks Allex!

This very spacious house was great for a family stay in Emporia. Linens were very nice and spares were plentiful. The deck was lovely and the relatively new outdoor grill made for comfortable evenings outside. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The Asian teas and snacks were a fun and welcoming touch. The neighborhood is a couple blocks off of Emporia State, so expect college level housing. I took very pleasant walks over to campus each day and enjoyed the student activities going on there.

The house was EXACTLY what we needed for 6 of us. We had a great time and look forward to coming back next year!

This house has awesome character and was exactly what I needed! Allex was super helpful, and I got exactly what I was expecting. I would definitely stay here again, lots of space and super clean.

Lori was a great host! Her house is on a large beautiful corner lot. We didn't cook, but the kitchen offers anything you could possibly want. We will book again next time we are in KS.

Very flexible and understanding! We had a family situation come up and unexpectedly had to cut our stay short. The host was super understanding and friendly!

I travel to Emporia often to visit family, and this is -- I think -- the fifth or sixth time I've stayed in this peaceful spot. As always, Darren and Allysa were thoughtful and considerate hosts, and they graciously let me extend my stay an extra day when I needed extra time with my family. I can't recommend this beautiful spot -- any my wonderful hosts -- highly enough.

I was very happy to stay at this lovely and cozy place for five days while participating in the Amateur Disco Golf Worlds Tournament. The place was exactly what I needed: a quiet place to rest after every round. Place offered a small living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Everything was within close distance: restaurants, laundromats, and disc golf courses. The best part is that Sal was very welcoming, flexible, and an excellent communicator. I had a great experience, thank you!

The space was clean and exactly as described. Will deffinatly book again next time i come to town!
