Brandon’s B&B was very elegant with high end furnishings and appliances, many of its details, made my stay feel right at home and comfortable. Even the beds were extremely comfortable for sleeping. It was refreshing to have excellent accommodation in a northern town that has been somewhat neglected in the past. It’s really nice to see that a young man like Brandon stepping up to help Kirkland Lake shine. I would not hesitate to stay there again when I visit this little northern mining town. I highly recommend this B&B!

We love our stay here! The place was gorgeous and cozy for our weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The host was very responsive to our questions. We love staying here, playing board games and sitting in the hammock chair by the fire (we may actually be buying one of these chairs for our home because we enjoyed it so much). Thank you for a great stay :)

I want to express my biggest recommendation for The Monarch, where I was privileged to stay recently 4 days and 3 nights with 7 other people. Having made several getaways of the same type, I can say without hesitation that this place is the best place x1000! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Melanie, whose kindness and attention to detail immediately highlighted the exceptional experience that awaited us. The accommodation was impeccable, impeccably clean, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated, offering absolute comfort. The location is simply ideal for tranquility, nature, parking etc. But what really makes all the difference is the unique atmosphere and exceptional hospitality we received from Melanie and her spouse who even came to clear the steps and make sure we were fine. If you are looking for a perfect place for your stay, look no further

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karine's place. She is an exceptional host, very attentive and caring about the comfort of her guests. The cottage was perfect: very intimate and warm, ideal for those who want to meet in the heart of nature. The interior was impeccably clean and well appointed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The property is set in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, with many hiking trails to explore. It's the perfect place for a romantic weekend. We particularly appreciated the calm and serenity of the place. Karine has really thought of everything to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and refreshing getaway.

A cute little cottage on the island! Very comfortable, clean, with everything you need to relax and fully focus on your holidays. You are alone on an island with old cedars and rocks. A great place for fishing, swimming, barbecue. The owners are very charming, adorable and very kind. We can't wait to come back, but hope to stay longer. A stay that we recommend from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you!
