Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Machakos County

Fantastic place for a group getaway just a few minutes from the city centre. The place is even better than in the pictures and Charity was very responsive throughout the booking and stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very very friendly and accommodating, the house is beautiful and inclusive, great to come with kids too( so much space to play and games too!) , beautiful art and pieces… truly fun! Greg recommended some great vibes from the Kamba people… truly,a hidden gem. Definitely definitely going back more and more

This is a great place for a group of friends or a family. Everyone will have ample space. Internet was solid and you'll feel secure at the home.

The place was just like depicted in the pictures. It is comfortable and our family of 10 enjoyed our stay. We had few issues though, but the host fixed them right away. She even provided us with a chef when we requested one, and we ended up keeping him the whole duration of our stay. The food was yummy, prepared in a kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed even the outside cooking and roasting of meat and vegetables on the grill. There were two monkeys that often appeared in the backyard while we sat in the gazebo that turned out to be our favorite place. The location is convenient to reach from the airport. Thank you, we had a great stay.

Perfect place for those who are seeking peace and quietness... it has a beautiful balcony, very clean and easy accessible from the main road. There's a min grocery store within the property with necessary produce, but there's also a mall close by. Will come again and again.

The place was nice and quiet, surrounded by nature. It was a peaceful stay. Stanley was very helpful. It’s proximity to the city was a huge plus

Leah’s accommodation was a dream! The spacious, beautifully kept house had four bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a TV, and a lovely garden. The location was peaceful, private, and very safe—perfect for a relaxing stay. Leah was an excellent host, always in close touch, and her housekeeper, Mercy, was incredibly helpful. She was on-site whenever needed, and when we had trouble with Netflix, she and her son quickly sorted it out. The house was conveniently close to a supermarket and the main road, making it easy to catch an Uber into Thika town. For me and my boys, it was the perfect place to spend quality time together. I highly recommend Leah’s place and will definitely rent it again in the future!
